## . **Summary** 

.Foundation registered as a charity 

Courses created to deliver educational and sport centric courses for those struggling .in and after school .These courses proving successful with 15 to 20 AEP students attending weekly Regular council audits have raised status to category 4. One of the few charities for .children operating at this level .Funds raised from several national and local bodies 

## **Annual report** 

The foundation was established as a charity on 1 April 2019 with the following :objectives The advancement of education through sport of children and young people in :Cambridge and the surrounding area, with the aim of 

Developing their skills, capacities and capabilities to enable them to participate in (1) society as independent, mature and responsible citizens; and 

encouraging interest in sport and promoting activities leading to good health to help (2) and educate children between the ages of 4 and 18 years old in physical activity and exercise so as to develop their physical and mental capacities that they may grow to full maturity as individuals and members of society and their conditions of life may .improve 

A mission was created to summarize these objectives:  “To create and deliver accessible opportunities that inspire personal and social development through ” .sport 

Since the foundation re-started following the Covid shut down we have appointed a Head of Foundation who, in conjunction with the trustees, focused the foundations .initiatives on those students who are in AEP (Alternative Education Provision) 

To deliver in these areas the foundation established itself as a provider in the Alternative Provision Directory for Cambridgeshire together with a significant number of visits to all local schools to explain the function of the foundation and ensure we fully understand the needs of each school. This resulted in most schools utilizing the foundation for a number of their children. Feedback has been excellent both from the schools and the council bodies who audit all providers. In a recent visit the council have upgraded the foundation to category 4. Apparently very few .charities are rated this highly 

This level of certification together with the excellent references we are receiving from the schools using us allows us to continue to grow the number of students we
