In planning our actiwties for the year we kept in mind the Ch)rty* Q)rnmis5ion's guidan￿ on public benef￿.
We enxtre that the sknlls in fine furniture making are passed on in the bèlib.onal rnannw fffxn experienced mak¥ tr)
apprenti￿ ènd preserved for future generations when they might ￿nN1* be lost.
It Is imp￿nt to the Trust that access to the educational oppDrbJnrtts offered are ￿)t restrrcted to those who on
afford to pay fe￿. As an adjunct, there are numerous trainiThJ op￿Irt￿nItIeS avaiLible elsewhÈre in this country, but they
virtvally all incur substantial fees. Our intske Criteria for app￿ntice5 are based enti¥eJy upon tslent and potential no
discrimination on the g￿￿ndS of ra¢e, colour, ethrioty, gender, sexual ￿le￿tiOn or rèligion. The Trlst seeks to extend
S training opportunities by offering work exwrientr platrs to childien from Iivl schools and colleg&. It is inevitable
that per￿$ trairtd by the Trust will h3ve e￿I￿nCed earni￿5 capaoty, obw"oU￿Y to their ￿[vate benefft. This however

During the year the Tru# employed 6 apprenti￿, one uaftgman, a 03ftsmèn-tutor/fundraiser, Off￿ and fvndiai>ng
administs8tor and a Deggner Manager.
We award& a thort int￿*[p to a We* Dean student. Tr Tru* was asslsted by three volunteers who hdped
with our Open Day events in the year.
The Trust has grèrts of £22,791 dunng the year to￿ardS the chariws overall obj*s of apprentice trdining.

The workthop deygner Jame5 Ryan gave a talk at the SchcDI in Devon. James also judged the Natiorol New
FurnIturema￿S exhibitson in the crf(y of London.
We twk part in 'FEPSW a rare ￿0k fair in LoThlon and ethibrted our w)rL We also partupated for the third time in
the 'Treasure House Fair. in thelsea in June. The fair was well atte￿ed, and our work was rerrived very well,
contribL5ting sgnifKanVy to our salès IMpelbnÈ.
We alg) hebj thr* of our ￿>pular WorksfKJP Open days in March and Crtober.
The TrL%t Se￿ the promDtion of its artiv￿e$ to the public as 6n imwrtant part of ts educational obiettives. We seek to
achieve this by participating in exhd)tK)ng, hosting open days, tours, by ugng ￿la1 meth'a channels arKJ the Trust
webs￿e. Our soaal media profile in particular has grown over the y￿r with SI￿ne reels attracting Dver 35,000 views.

than the traditi0Th31 ￿ngle platr. This has proved SJC￿5￿I, and the Trust intends to continue to offer two l-year
placemet7ts in 2026. will depend on the availability of grants, the annual co* to tPE Tnjst of equlpping, training
