My examination was carfied out in accordance with the general Directions gNen by the Charity
Commission. An examination includes a remew ofthe accounting records kept by the charity and
a comparison of the accounts presented wrth those records. It also includes consideration of any

concerning any such matters. The procedures undertaken do not provtde allthe evidence that

|Summary of the main<br>achievements of the charity,<br>identifying the difference the<br>charity’s work has made to<br>the circumstances of its<br>beneficiaries and any wider<br>benefits to society as a<br>whole.|Para 1.20|The team has now grown to just short of 40<br>members, following a very successful<br>recruitment drive in late 2023. The team<br>has also rebranded from its previous name<br>of North Cumbria Rescue Response to<br>North Cumbria Search and Rescue.<br>The team is working towards being directly<br>taskable by Cumbria Police via Sarcall, a<br>web application used by all Mountain<br>Rescue teams in Cumbria. This will enable<br>a quicker alerting process for the team<br>enabling prompt response times. We hope<br>to have this completed in Q2 of 2024.<br>The team has seen several significant<br>callouts in the last 12 months with our<br>service being held in high regard by partner<br>agencies, as a result of the hard work and<br>dedication of our team members.<br>The team continues to run community<br>outreach courses in Water Awareness and<br>First Aid and have done several talks and<br>demonstrations to youth and community<br>groups in our operating area.|
