Achievements and Performance
| SORP reference | ||
|---|---|---|
| Summary of the main achievements of the charity, identifying the difference the charity’s work has made to the circumstances of its beneficiaries and any wider benefits to society as a whole. |
Para 1.20 | This year has been focusing on developing a business case for the establishment of a new farmer’s market in Exeter. To this end the trustees have recruited 2 volunteers and sought funding from Exeter City council and ward councillors for establishing the new market. A research project obtaining attitudes from potential traders and from existing Exeter businesses has provided us with a foundation from which to launch the new market, which is planned for June 2025. We have also been engaging with wider initiatives such as The Devon Food Partnership and The Peninsula Food Plan in order to share intelligence on the challenges and potential for sustainable food projects in the Exeter region. |
