BERKHAMSTED ROTARY TRUST FUND CIO

Minutes of Annual General Meeting held on Tuesday 19th September 2023 at 21.00 hrs

1. Present: Geoff Budd (Chairman) Steve Allen (Treasurer) Ian Briscoe, John Simpson (Trustees) and 37 members.

2. The notice of meeting sent to all members on 4[th] September was taken as read.

3. The meeting received the statement of accounts for the period from 1[st] July 2022 to 30[th] June 2023 and the Independent Examiner’s report thereon which had been circulated with the notice. The Chairman invited questions from those present. There were none.

4. The Chairman reminded the meeting that the trustees retiring by rotation in accordance with the constitution were Ian Briscoe and Simon Cattle. Both had signified their willingness to continue in office. No other nominations had been received and they were duly elected on a show of hands.

5. Graham Taylor had been appointed Secretary of the CIO on 1[st] July 2023 ex officio upon his appointment as Secretary of The Rotary Club of Berkhamsted Bulbourne. His appointment was duly ratified by the meeting.

6. In the absence of other business the Chairman closed the meeting at 21.05 hrs.
