## **Report of the trustees for the year ended 31[st] March 2022** 

## **1 Purpose of the Foundation** 

Under the terms of the Constitution, the Trustees apply funds at their discretion: 

_The Objects of the charity:_ 

The relief of financial hardship of young people by making grants of money and other finance for providing, or paying, for items, services or facilities so that they can further their education, sporting or employment goals. 

The Trustees of Alli Foundation seek to support those activities for purposes which help further the Objects. 

## **2 Chairs statement** 

Since April 2021 the Alli Foundation has been putting in place the policies and procedures necessary to start to make grants. 

Our objects are to offer hope to young people who are suffering from financial hardship we recognise that 2023 will be a key year for us. We plan to be raising and distributing funds in 2023 and supporting young people in a variety of ways as they pursue their dreams. 

To date the Foundation has had no income, no donations and no expenditure.

The charity is exempt from audit as our turnover is under £25,000 as per the Charity Commission rules. 

## **Note** 

Alli Foundation was dormant in this accounting period to 31.03.2022 as we have been preparing to set the organisation up. It has been entirely run by volunteers and there have been no financial transactions in this period. However the charity has been active in setting the groundwork for its activities in the following financial year. 

The charity was effectively dormant throughout the accounting year.
