## 1. Reference and Administrative Details

The trustees present their Annual Report together with the financial information for the period ended 31 

## 2. Structure, Governance and Management 

DOPPSI is governed by its trustees, who are responsible for the overall direction, financial stewardship, and governance of the charity. Trustees meet as required to review activities, oversee finances, and ensure that the charity operates in accordance with its charitable objectives and applicable Charity Commission guidance. 

The trustees are committed to good governance, accountability, and transparency, and ensure that appropriate controls and insurance are in place to manage risk and protect beneficiaries, volunteers, and the organisation. 

## 3. Objectives and Activities 

Charitable Objectives 

The objectives of DOPPSI are to advance health, relieve poverty, and promote wellbeing through outreach programmes, education, and practical support. The charity seeks to improve the quality of life for vulnerable and underserved communities, particularly through health screening initiatives, community engagement, and capacitybuilding activities. 

Activities Undertaken to Achieve the Objectives 

During the reporting period, the charity undertook the following activities in furtherance of its charitable objectives: 1. Health Outreach and Medical Screening 

DOPPSI supported healthcare screening initiatives, including the use of HbA1c testing cartridges to assist in identifying individuals at risk of diabetes. These activities contributed to early detection, improved health awareness, and appropriate signposting for further care. 

2. International Outreach and Community Support (Ghana) The charity facilitated international outreach activities in Ghana, supporting volunteers to deliver practical assistance and community-based interventions. Funds were used to cover essential travel, logistics, and local transport to ensure effective delivery of outreach programmes.

3. Volunteer Mobilisation and Support 

DOPPSI provided financial support to assist volunteers travelling between the UK and Ghana, helping to reduce barriers to participation and enabling skilled individuals to contribute meaningfully to charitable activities. 

4. Governance, Safeguarding, and Risk Management The charity maintained appropriate insurance cover throughout the year to support safeguarding, volunteer protection, and risk management, ensuring that activities were conducted safely and responsibly. 

## Public Benefit Statement 

In carrying out its activities, the trustees have had due regard to the Charity Commission’s guidance on public benefit. The charity’s work provided clear public benefit through improved access to health screening, support for disadvantaged communities, and the promotion of wellbeing. Access to services was not unreasonably restricted. 

## 4. Achievements and Performance 

Despite limited resources, DOPPSI successfully delivered key outreach activities during the reporting period. The charity: 

- Enabled health screening using HbA1c testing equipment 

- Supported international outreach activities in Ghana 

- Mobilised and supported volunteers 

- • Maintained essential governance and safeguarding arrangements 

These activities contributed positively to community wellbeing and strengthened the charity’s operational capacity. 

## 5. Financial Review 

Opening Balance • Cash balance a 1st April 2025: £30.18 

Income 

- Outreach donations: £554.80 

- • Parable Trust grant (received 9 September 2025): £3,000.00 

Total Income (excluding opening balance): £3,554.80 

## Expenditure 

All expenditure was incurred in furtherance of the charity’s objectives.

• Access Insurance (3 July 2025): £554.80 (Covered fully by outreach donations)

## 6. Reserves Policy 

The trustees have designated the closing balance of £631.98 to support the upgrading of our DOPPSI website. This will enhance, communication, governance, and future fundraising capacity. 

## 7. Plans for Future Periods 

The trustees plan to: 

- Develop and launch the DOPPSI website 

- Expand health screening and outreach programmes 

- Strengthen partnerships with donors, trusts, and community organisations 

- Improve monitoring, evaluation, and impact reporting 

## 8. Statement of Trustees’ Responsibilities 

The trustees are responsible for preparing this Trustees’ Annual Report and ensuring that the charity’s funds are applied solely towards its charitable purposes in accordance with Charity Commission guidance and applicable law. 

## 9. Declaration
