In addi6on, con6nuing discussions were held with possible grant recipients in northern Nigeria, with the hope that the first grant will be made in early 2025.
Financial Review
year end - £19 (2023: £19) unrestricted as to use.
The Trustees are in the process of sePng up a reserves policy based on future plans for grant expenditure and other expenditure, but with no commiXed liabili6es at year end are happy with the reserves stated above.

Governing document
The Trustees administer the CIO under the terms of its governing document, it’s cons6tu6on. It is registered with the Charity Commission in England and Wales, registra6on number 1182421.
Recruitment and appointment of Trustees
New Trustees are appointed by the exis6ng Trustees based on the skills and knowledge required by the organisa6on at that point in 6me.
All new Trustees are inducted by the current board and provided with copies of the cons6tu6on and the latest annual report and accounts for their informa6on, as well as to help them form an understanding of the work of the Charity.
There must be at least three Trustees and no maximum number. If the number falls below this minimum, the remaining Trustee or Trustees may act only to call a mee6ng of the Trustees or appoint a new Trustee.
