CAERAU MEN’S SHED.

CHARTIY NUMBER 1182410.

Caerau Men’s Shed is located in a small village in south Wales with Caerau being one of the most deprived regions in Wales

The purpose of the charity is to support our members and encourage members to interact and support the community.

We have a large workshop which is open 5 days a week were members can attend and work on projects.

On a Friday morning we have our weekly meet at local church hall where we have invited speakers and lunch.

Wednesday evening is indoor ‘Walk About Football’ at the local RFC.

Income comes from membership, grant applications ,Donations, and from products and services that members provide at the workshop.

We have the production of a yearly calendar accompanied by a specially created song and professional video ( view on our website) .

Christmas time is when we supply 200 fresh Xmas trees to the public and schools and take our own Santa on our sleigh around the streets with a police escort.

We also visit a very large local supermarket with Santa and the sleigh to talk to children and sell our calendars and receive donations in a collection bucket.

All income is spent on running Caerau Men’s Shed including rent rates heating repairs etc.

All trustees are volunteers and no one takes a salary
