courses within schools and local
communities. Funpact focuses on 3
important aspects of education – the
transition to secondary school, the safe
transition between reliance on
parents/carers in their every day life to
growing in independence and also

the most of school.
These courses are run in fun,
informative and interactive sessions led
by qualified or in-training MSc graduate
in child and adolescent mental health
and other professionals where
appropriate.
By bringing together both the pupil and
parent/carer together Funpact ensures
that families have the opportunity to
learn and explore together and build a
firm foundation of knowledge which can

The focus of this year has been to build the
backroom team and facilitators as well as
revamp the website ready for relaunch of
courses with an updated strategy in the
next academic year. We achieved this by
holding Funpact Unpacked meetings with
the team – looking at our strategy and
moving forward, advertising for more
backroom staff, recruiting new facilitators
and enrolling a new trustee.
Delivery-wise we developed and ran a new
1 day Ambition 2 Success day working with
pupils who were struggling to make the
most of their time at secondary school
(through absenteeism, behaviour etc.) this
went very well and will be further
developed in the next academic year. We
continued to run transition to secondary
sessions in primary schools in
Hammersmith and Fulham and made new
connections in Hammersmith and Fulham
building partnerships to develop and grow
in the new academic year.
