2025.

The objectives of the CIO are to advance the Christian faRh in accordance wth the statement of beliets

The Church is run by the tn¢slees. New truste￿ are appointed from th9 elders and deacons of the
Church, in accordance with section 15 of our Constitution.
Revlow of Actlvlti
This year our church has continued its ￿gUlar mlnlstry of publlc worship on Sundays, moming and
evening Iwith a preaching seTies in the first book of Psalms, and a series in John's Gospel), continuing to
live stream these seNic&s onllne across the year. We also continued our weekly prayer meetings when
we pray for the needs of both those in the church and those outside the Church. The prayer meeb'ng on
the first Tuesday of the month has been held on Zoom lo enable some in distant places to be able to join
with us in Christian fellowship and prayer Ilhe family we suppJrt in Moldova, a pastor in India in an area
where Chrfsllans face persecution for their faith, and a pastor in St Ives, Cornwall, al a sibling-
con9regatson within Ine Count888 Ot Hunlinguon's GOnneX￿n?.
Our outreach to the communlty wllh the Good News ol Jesus has contlnued weekly throughout the year.
with leafleting in the town centr8. Monthly 5eTvlce8 at 8 local care home have continued across the year,
aiming to take Ihe Good News of salvation through Jesus Christ to their Tè8idenls and slaff (though
unfortunately that care home has now dosed).
The church has continued running its annual 'Shoe Bags, project, In which it prepares and sends
packages of Christmas gifts to children in Sierra Leone who would otherwise receive no Christmas
presents.
Our church's wornen's group (called Refresh) which is open to women bolh who are regular church
attendees and those who are not, has mel four times across the year, and been an encouwement and
benefit to those that have attended, looking 8t the first chaptsrs of Colossians.
We have also continued our regular support of the Beachy Head Chaplainw Team (who seek to prevent
Suicides at Beachy Head), the Sierra Leone Mission, PARCHE (who coordinate teams tsking Christian
services in Eastboume's care homes}, SASRA (who seek to minister the Christian Good News amongst
the armed forces}, Care Sri Lanka, and the Slavic Gospel Association Iwho wort in Easlem Europe,
Central Asia and Far East Russial-
During the year, there w88 some signfficant expendrture on building repairs that were necessary for safety
reasons.

In summary, we thank the God and Father of our Lord and Saviour. Jesus ChrisL for all that He has
enabled us to do in His service over the course of this year. As we have done over the year that's past, so
we continue lo trust in Him. and to seek to please Him de￿ndIng on His Spirit, looking to Him to provide
for all His church's needs over Ihe coming year. May the great and wonderful name of Jèsus Christ be
honoured and glorified through us.

The Iruslees have paid due regard to the guidance issued by the Charlty Commlssion in deciding what
8Ctivlties the Church shoukl undertake.

Thes& financial statements have been prèpared on a receipts and payments basis. There was a net
deficit on funds for the year of £2,517 {2024'. deficit of £18,525) leaving a balance on cash funds of
£28,336 at 30 June 202512024.. £30,853).
The Church has 8 reserve policy of ensuring at least three months of 8nnual expendkture is held In
reserve, in order for the church to b8 able to meet its financial commitments to its paid employee(sl.

I report in respect of my examination of the CIO'S accounts carried out under section 145 of the Act. In
