Obje¢tlve$ and aetlvities The objectives of the CIO are to advance the Christian faith in accordance wth the statement of beliefs primarily (but not exclusively) in Easlbourne. Structure, governance and management South Street Free Church is a CIO governed by ils Constitution registered with the Charity Commission on the 7 March 2019. The trustees who served during the year were.. David Balchelor Ichairl Anthony Thompson Bruce Elkington (resigned 14 September 20221 Rachel Wells The Church is run by the Iruslees. New trustees are appointed from the elders and deacons of the Church, in accordance with section 15 01 our Constitution. Revlew of Activitie$ This year our church has continued ils regular ministry of public worship on Sundays, morning & evening, continuing lo live stream this online across the whole year. On a Sunday we continue to welcome new guests almost every week across a diverse age group. We have prepared ourselves to best serve our visitors by reviewing our creche facilities as well as introducing a working hearing loop. Our online presence has continued to grow during this period resulting in us now having 500+ subscribers on YouTube which has enabled us lo broadcast our church services and discipleship videos to 67,000. These are typically people that are unable to be wth us in person lor various reasons and lo people all across the world. We have continued lo provide a mid week morning Bible study group utilising the resources provided for free from Ligonier Ministries. Over the reporting 12 months we have studied various important topics including The basics of the Christian faith, Assurance, Union with Christ and a study of The Holy Spirit. This group has grown from 6 people to 14+ on a regular basis. During this period we have also developed a regular Women's Bible study which is an invitational event and has received great feedback. Our full time evangelist has Continued lo provide opportunities lor the church to be involved in planned outreach events. Every week we spend lime handing out Iracls and engaging in Conversations at the Railway station and al bankers corner as well as planned events at other locations and events on an adhoc basis such as the Coronation ol the King in London and al Eastbourne Airbourne and the Christmas little Chelsea events. Our evangelist is the chaplain lor Stagecoach Ilocal bus company) with 400 employees which includes regular visits and support as and when requested. We have continued lo provide Bible studies and pastoral support lor all whom have a need when requested.

Our church have created a football team with regular training on a Friday evening. This has created a mixed group of both Christians and non Christians lo develop friendships and lo keep healthy. Mid-week prayer meetings Continued throughout the year. In February we adjusted our weekly prayer meetings so that the first meeting ol the month would be held on Zoom, so that Ewelina and Vasilii can join us from Moldova this has proved successful and been appreciated. The church supports Ewelina and Vasilii (now blessed with daughter Damaris) in ils aim lo advance the Christian faith beyond Eastbourne. We have also Continued our regular support ol the Beachy Head Chaplaincy Team Iwho seek to prevent suicides), the Sierra Leone Mission, PARCHE (who coordinate teams taking Christian services in Eastboume's care homes), SASRA Iwho seek to minister the Christian Good News amongst the armed forces), Care Sri Lanka, the Slavic Gospel Association (who work in Eastern Europe, Central Asia and Far East Russial, and the Barnabas Fund (who support persecuted Christians across the worldl. We thank our God and Saviour lor manifestly having His good hand on us, and we look lo Him to continue to do so and pour out His Holy Spirit in even greater measure on us and through us-lo His glory and the glory ol Jesus Christ His Son.
