AnnuaL Report for the Catechism Activities
The Department of Centr81 Catechi$m h88 successfully concluded another enriching year of
rellglous educwion and splritual development. The C8tèch18m academlc year runs from
September to July. Throughout the y88r, various engaglng octivftl8s were organised to foster a
deeper und8r8tanding of the lalth among our children. We focused on t88ching the 8588ntial
88P&¢t8 of Cathollc do¢trine. mor81ity. and 88cr8rnents to ensure a comprehensive learning
exporl¢n¢•, Flegular Cate¢hism Classes were conducted through Intsr8CtIV8 88881on8, group
dl8CU3sions, and multimedia pre8entatlons. creatlng a dynamlG and Immerslve le8rnlng
envlronment, 8nd Incorporatlng community-bullding Inltlatives such as pr8y6r $8rvlces, retreat8,
outreach a¢tivitla8, reqion81 c8mps, and Bible qulz competitions. Catechi6m Day and TeachgrB'
Day were celèbrated in all mission centres. Th8 Catechlsm stud8nts 8Ctlvely partlclp8ted In the
cultural programs and Holy Ma38 durlng the Fe88t8 of the patron 38int of tholr ml88ion.
Flrst, Holy Communlon 8nd Conflrmation ceremonies were celebr8ted with great joy and
reverence, marklng signiflc8nt mi18Stones in the spiritualiourn8ys of our catechi8m students. The
dedlcatlon of our experlenced Catech18ts an¢ the actlve P8rt1cip8tlon of Student8 8nd thelr
famllles contrlbut8d to the progr8m's success. Rertecting on th8 year's achievements, we look

Malankara Catholic Youth Movement
The MaL8nk8ra Cathollc Youth Movement 18 the org8nisation that organlse8 various youth
8Gtivities. Not?ble events include a memor8ble two-d8y resldentialyouth C8mp, leadlngthe Holy
Rosary, conductlng Sports D8ys, and successfully hosting online events such As the Veni Veni
Emmanuel Carol and Nativity Play competition, and the Lenten R8tTeat. The MCYM, in
commemoratlon of S8r¥ant ol God Mar Iv8nios, conducts Ivani8n Pr8y8r Meetings every I￿0
months. MGYM C&ntr81 Secretari8t emphasi8es weekly meetings and the formation of an MCYM
Senite tcj elect office bearers. fostering passion and unity among youths for the greater glory of
Lord Jesus Christ in the United Kingdom. In closing. we 5e8k intercesslon from Mother Mary. St.
Francis of A88isi, and 81188ints for th8 conlinued growth of MCYM 8S a Strong and vibrant
movement.
Mothers Forum
Mothers Forum Imathru Samajaml has the followlng goa18- Prayer 8nd Charltable deeds. All
married women in the parlsh are ellgible tololn the Mothars Forum. Moth&rs Forum is one of the
most 8ctlV8 and pious apostolates of the Church and contributes its talents effectively to the
Spiritual growth of the parish. Mothers Foium has been established in every mission centrg ￿th
an elected presiéellt. secretary and treasurer as itsoffice bearers.Thi8 apostolate 199ds a weekly

pray8r s8rvlce vla an online platform, including recitstion ofthe Holy Rosary and evenlng prayer.
A one-day Lenten retreatwas conducted. Many membèrs attended the retre8t, and Sr. Ann Mario.
8 renowned Evangelist in the UK. gBve a Spiritual t81k. Mothers Forum has alw8y8 been at the
forefront ot supporting programmes conducted in the church for the youth and c8techlsm
8tudents. Along with thelr prayer8, they wholeheartedly support the organisers in all posslble
ways. AGtive particlpation In the church choir. teaching Catechi8m, and preparing food for
mlsslon m8mber8 on varlous occasions are just a few roles they undert8ke.

person and three online. to dlscuss and plan varlous actlvities related to the mls81on8 In the
United Kingdom. The National CounGiI 18 led by Rev Dr KuriakoseThadathll, Its presid&nt.
At each natlon81 council 8nd executive commlttee meetln& presidentlal 8ddresses were
elivered, and Ihe national ¢ounoil w88 updated on the ststus ol the Syro-M818nkara Catholic
Church In th8 UK. At thi¥ point, thg n8tion81 ¢oun¢ll members were aLiowed to 8h8r8 thelr ￿ewS
on the Church's development. The matters Trised weTe diBcu8sed extenslvoly during the
meetlngs. and potential action steps were developed. Underthe direct18Édership of the N8tion81
