The 2023-2024 annual period was another v8lu8ble step toward5 expandlng the Syro-Malankar8
Catholic Church in the Unlted Kingdom region. Our Lord God Almighty showered HIS grace on us
abundantly. The 8th Natlonal Convention 12023. June 23rd to 25th. Cyrll Baselios C8tholicos

Nagar, Cefn Lea Park. Walgsl of th8 Syro-malankara Gatholic Church, Rerfion of United Kingdom,
was a great success. It will undoubtedly be engraved in th8 chronicles of Ihe history of th8
Ma18nkara Catholic Community In the UK. During the Convention, we were blessed wlth the
pres8nce ot HIS B88titude. Moran Mor Baseilos C8rdinal Cl8emis Catholicose. who18 th8 head
and father of Syro Malonkara ¢hurch. W8thankfully rememberthe dedlc8ted workof the Natlongl
Councll membBrs. Executiv8 comm1tt66 memb8rs, different GommÉtt88 membgrs, Priests. and

The Malankara Catholic Youth Movom¢nt Is the youth movement that org8nise8 V8rlous activities
for the youth. Notable events include a memorable two-day residential Youth Camp, leading the
HolyRosary, conductingsports Days. and successfulonline events such as a Chrlstm88 Nont8ge
vldeo and th&'lGNITE' Lenten Retreat. The MCYM. cornmgmor8ting Servant of God Mar fvanlos,
Conducts Ivanian Prayer Meetings every two monihs. Acthowiedging the leadership tr8n$ltlon.
with R8v. Fr. Jlbu N8thew now 88 the director. and expresslnggr8titude to R8v. Dr. Louis Charuvila

Mothers Forum IM8thru S8mejarnl has th6 following goal$: Prayer and Charitablfj deeds. All
m8rrieé women In th8 parish ar8 eligible tor Mothers Forum membèrship. Mothers Forum is one
of the most active and pious 8POStolates of the Church and contribut8$ its talents to the splrltual
grDWth of the parish very effectively. Moth8rs Forum has been 8st8blished In every misslon centre
wlth an elect&d pre8ident. socretary and treasurer as Its office bearers. This apo8tolat& lead8 a
weekly pr8ygr Service via an onllne plattoim. Including recitatlon of the Holy Rosary and evening
pr8yer. A one-day Lent&n retreat was conducted. Many members 8ttended the retreat. and
splrltualt81kwas given bysr. Ann Maria. afamous Evangelist in the UK. Mothars Forum h88 always
be8n at the forofront of supportlng progr8mme8 conducted In the church for the youth and

The Syro-Malank8ra Catholic Councll UK Members met seven times in this finanGi81 year. four In
person and thiee online, to discuss and plan v8riOUS 8Ctlviti83 related to the mi88ion8 in the
United Kingdom. The National Council operates underthe strong leadership ot Rev Dr Kuriakosts
Th8dathll. presidenl of the rouncil.
During 88ch natlonal councll meeting and executive committee meetlng, presidential addre3$88
w8r8 conductBd, and thg n8tional councll was updated on the statu$ of th8 Syro-malankara
C8tholl¢ Church in the UK. Ai thls polnl. the national Gouncil memb8rs were allowed to share
their vlew8 on the development of the Church. The mattels raised were discussed exten81vely
during ihe meetlngs, and potential action 8teps were developed. Under the diroct leadershlp of
the National Councll members. tha following actiwties were organi8ed: th8 Walslngh8m
Pilgrimage, Commemor8tlon of Serv8nt of God M8r Ivanios and praparation of Natlon81
