In 2016, the Bishop of Covenlry inTrited Holy Trinity Bron]ptoD to P2rthtr the diocese and plallt a new city-ctntre
resourc¢ ¢huT¢h, specifically tt> reach out to ihe nwiy Sthdents and yowig people in the area. The tw church seeks to
r¢soiu¢e others in the diocese, m(Kiellin8 mission th¢ form of Church pl8ntiiig. trainin& and resourcing other ehurcbes
in ih¢ area.
Revd Phil Atkinson was a￿oiThttd on l January 2017. alld on tbe buiidillg eommenced in April. As the year
progressel NHS fLKtures and fittittBS were renx)vel and the buildiDg V¥7S repaired and renovated into a ￿llY vs.-ble
Spare with ele¢tri¢s. heating, and I￿hlIng neTrty installed. The ehurch lauDch¢d on l October 2017 and re¢eiYed
Considerable media interest. By the end of 2017. the church H•s meeting ort a weekly basis at a 4pm Sund8w Qather.ng,
attractillg ¢.150 people each week. kn 2019 ther¢ a move to 2 services- with provision for ehildrell glld youth iti the
morning, and a focus on StUd￿ts a￿d young people iu e%tniD&
The COVtD p8ndemi¢ bad a sigtiifi¢aDt ampact on the church- with &￿viceS alld otlLerevents n￿Ved online. Tbis on]ine
provision bas contillued, with the mornillg gathering now broadc￿ live. Tbe avernge Sunday congregation now 8tands
