|Summary of the objects of the charity<br>set out in its governing document<br>The objects of the Charitable Incorporated Organisation (�CIO�) are: (1) To<br>advance the education of the public in the fundamental skills necessary for<br>careers in professional investing and investment related fields: financial<br>analysis, investment strategy, basic finance concepts and economics, critical<br>thinking and analysis, presentation skills and leadership concepts; (2) The<br>promotion of equality and diversity for the public benefit by providing<br>educational and work experience initiatives targeting girls and women<br>attending schools, colleges and universities designed to address the<br>underrepresentation of women in senior decision making roles within the<br>investment industry.<br>Summary of the main activities<br>undertaken for the public benefit in<br>relation to these objects (include within<br>this section the statutory declaration<br>that trustees have had regard to the<br>guidance issued by the Charity<br>Commission on public benefit)<br>GAIN is a community of investors set to change the staggering lack of gender<br>diversity in investment management, from the ground up. |Summary of the main achievements of<br>the charity during the year.|In 2021, GAIN expanded its outreach to students. With our increased<br>outreach and volunteer support, we were able to reach 5745 students in the<br>year. Some key successes include:<br>�<br>Organised 84 events throughout the year�41 university events, 27<br>school events and 16 industry/partner events, Since launch in 2019<br>we have reached just under 10,000 students through our events and<br>programmes<br>�<br>Summer�50% of the interns on our Summer 2021 (inaurgural)<br>programme were offered full time roles<br>�<br>September�recruited a part-time Programme Manager<br>�<br>September/October�2ndGAIN Investment Internship Programme<br>launched to student network. Increased demand from corporates and<br>students (455 student applications compared with 185 in the first<br>year). This resulted in almost 100 interns placed with 70+ different<br>investment firms for Summer 2022. The programme includes a<br>preparatory training programme and pairing with industry mentors.<br>�<br>November�launched inaugural GAIN Investment Insight<br>Programme (GIIP) for first year undergraduates with over 60 student<br>applications. The programme included weekly information sessions,<br>mentoring, a virtual portfolio competition and insight days with<br>investment firms in London<br>�<br>As of December31st,wewereveryhappywithourprogress�|

I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of the above
charity ('the Trust") for the year ended

basis of report
As the charity's trustees, you are responsible for the preparation of the
accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011
('the Act.).
I report in respert of my examination of the Trust's accounts carried out
under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in Carrying out my examination, I
have followed all the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission
under section 145(5){b) of the Act.
Independent I have completed my examination. I confimi that no rnaterial matters have
examiner's statsment come to my atterrtion in connection with the examination (other than that
disclosed below ') which gives me cause to believe that in, any material
respect..
the accounting records were not kept in accordance with section 130
of the Charities Act,. or
