Section D Achievements and performance Knot Another Choir is a C(m)munity Choir. based in Knaresborough, North Yorkshire. We meet weekty for rehearsals led by our Muslcal Direclor and A¢Lompanist. Summary of the maln a¢hIeVentS of the charity during the yeai We regularly lake part in concerts and festivals in the local area, and sometimes elsewhere iii the UK. We also hold singing workshops pn'marily for members. sometimes with guest visitors invited ttsloin us. This year we entwed the Manchester Amateur Choral Competition h&ld al the Northem Royal Coitege of Music where we achieved 2 place. We also held several concerts supporting tocal Charities. We are fulty incluswe and have Memr9 of all ages and bad(ground8. We do not hold auditions. and anyone within Ihe community is wèlcome to join, suw onty to a wailing list for place8 if applicable at the lime. In September and January we welcomed several new member8. We ar& aware that some may face financial diffiwltw which may pr6vant them joining KAC and tt)erefore offer subsldised membership where appropriate. We are a frndlY choir, welcoming new members of all singing abilitie$. The benefit8 lo mental health of singing in a choir are well prr)v&n.
