Statement of Trustees. Responsibilities
The trustees are rwonsible for preparing the Trustxs, Annual Report and the financial
statements in accordance with applicable law and unit￿ Kingdom Accounting Standards
(United Kingdom Generally Accq)ted Accounting Practice).
The law applicable to charities in England and Wal&Nortbern Ireland requires the trustees to
prepare financial statements ftir each financiaI year which give a true and fair view of the
ch￿lty and of the incoming resources and application of resources of the Charity for that
p¢riod. In preparing these financial statements, the TnLStees are required to:
select suitable accounting pjlicies and then apply them consistently.
observe the methods and PTinciples in the thaTities SORP.
make judgements and estimates that are reasonable and prudent;
state whether appIl￿bI¢ accounting standards have been followed. subject to any material
departures disclosed and explained in the financial statcments.
prepare the financial statements on the going ¢x)ncem basis UTh1￿ it is inappmpriate to
presume that the Charity will continue in operdtiott.
The trustees are responsible for keeping proper a¢eounting records that disclose with
reasonable accuracy at any lime the financial position of the Charity and enable them to ensure
that the Financial Statements comply with the Charities A¢t 2011, the Charity (Accounts and
Reports) Regulations 2008 and the pmvisions of the Trust D¢¢d. They are also responsible for
safeguarding the assets of the Charity and hence for tsking ieasonable steps for the prevention
and detection of fraud and other irregularities.

of the Charity in the following year.

The ch￿lty intends to maintain reserves of 6 months operating cost in order to provide
financial stability and develop their principal activitics.
The Charity cU￿entlY hold 7 months reserves.
The Charity intends to use their reserves ill the followin8 way in 2026:
To ￿ntinUe to support our projects through rising costs and sUPPOrt unfimded projects
to continue while we seek new funding opportunities.
We intend to raise staff Salaries ag8in in April 2026, in line with perfonnan¢e on
objective5 and with consideration to rising costs of minimurn wage. We also hope to
recognise some members of staff who fall outside of the salary band they should be in.
We will continue to invest in staff training, wellbeing and mental health support.

It is my responsibility to:
examin¢ the accounts under section 145 of the Charities Act,
to follow the procedures laid down in the g¢neral Directions given by the Charity
Commission (under sectioTh 145(5)(b) of the Charities Act), and
to state whether partÉcular matters have come to my attention.
Basis of Independent Examiner's Statement
My examination was carried out in accordance with general Directions given by the Charity
Commission. An ex&mination includes a review of the accounting rceords kept by the Charity
and a comparison of the accounts present¢d with those records. It also includes consideration
of any unusual items OT disclosures in th¢ &¢counts and seeking explanations from you as
trustees concerning any surh matters. The procedures undertaken do not provid¢ all the

Basis of Preparation
The charity constitutes a public benefit entity as defined by FRS 102. The financial
statements have been prepared in accordance with Accounting and Reporting by
Charittes.. Statement of Recommended Pra¢li¢e applicable to charities preparin8 their
accounts in accordance with the Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK
and Republic of Ireland (FRS 102) issued on 16 July 2014 (as updated through Update
Bulletin I published on 2 February 2016), the Financial Reporting Standard applicable
in the United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland (FRS 102) and UK Generally Accepted
Practice ￿ it applies from l January 2015.
The ¢harity h&s applied Update Bulletin l &8 published on 2 February 2016 and does
not include a cash flow statement on the grounds that it is applying FRS 102 Section
IA.
The financial statements have been prepared lo give a 'true and fair. view and have
depart¢d from the Charities (Accounts and Reports) Regulations 2008 only to the extent
required to provide a 'lrue and fair view,. This departLwe has involved following the
Accounting and Reporting by Charities: Statement of Recommended Practice
applicable to charities preparing their accounts in accordance with the Financial
Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland (FRS 102) issued on
16 July 2014 rather than the Accounting and R¢porting by Charities: Statement of
Recommended Practice effective from l April 2005 which h&8 since been withdrawn.
The financial statements are prepared on a going ¢oncem basis under the historical
cost ¢onv¢ntion. modified to include certain items at fair valu¢. The financial
statements are presented in 5t¢rling which is the ￿nCtIonal rU￿enCY of the charity.

Basis of Independent Examiner's Statement
My examination was carried out in accordance with general Directions given by the Charity
Commission. An ex&mination includes a review of the accounting rceords kept by the Charity
and a comparison of the accounts present¢d with those records. It also includes consideration
of any unusual items OT disclosures in th¢ &¢counts and seeking explanations from you as
trustees concerning any surh matters. The procedures undertaken do not provid¢ all the
cvidence that would be required in an audit, and consequently no opinion is given as to whether
the accounts present a "t￿¢ and fair view" and the report is limited to those matters set out tn
the statement below.

Basis of Preparation
The charity constitutes a public benefit entity as defined by FRS 102. The financial
statements have been prepared in accordance with Accounting and Reporting by
Charittes.. Statement of Recommended Pra¢li¢e applicable to charities preparin8 their
accounts in accordance with the Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK
and Republic of Ireland (FRS 102) issued on 16 July 2014 (as updated through Update
Bulletin I published on 2 February 2016), the Financial Reporting Standard applicable
in the United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland (FRS 102) and UK Generally Accepted
Practice ￿ it applies from l January 2015.
The ¢harity h&s applied Update Bulletin l &8 published on 2 February 2016 and does
not include a cash flow statement on the grounds that it is applying FRS 102 Section
IA.
The financial statements have been prepared lo give a 'true and fair. view and have
depart¢d from the Charities (Accounts and Reports) Regulations 2008 only to the extent
required to provide a 'lrue and fair view,. This departLwe has involved following the
Accounting and Reporting by Charities: Statement of Recommended Practice
applicable to charities preparing their accounts in accordance with the Financial
Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland (FRS 102) issued on
16 July 2014 rather than the Accounting and R¢porting by Charities: Statement of
Recommended Practice effective from l April 2005 which h&8 since been withdrawn.
The financial statements are prepared on a going ¢oncem basis under the historical
cost ¢onv¢ntion. modified to include certain items at fair valu¢. The financial
statements are presented in 5t¢rling which is the ￿nCtIonal rU￿enCY of the charity.
The significant accounting policies applied in the pr¢paralion of these financial
statements Are set out below. These policies have been consistently applied to all
years presented unless otherwise slated.

Recognition of Incoming Resources
These are included in the Statement of Financial Activities (SOFA) when:
the Charity becomes entitled to the resources.
the Trnslees are virtually certain they will receive the r¢sour¢es; and
the monetary value can be measured with sufficient reliability.
2.2 Volunteer Help
The value of any voluntary help received is not tncluded in the accounts but is dcscribed
in the Trustees. annual report.
Investment Income
This is included in the a¢￿unt$ when receivable.

Liability Recognition
Liabilities are recognised ￿ soon as there 15 a le881 or constrn¢tive obligation
committin8 the Charity to pay out resources.

Tangible Fixed Assets for use by Charity
These are capitalised if they can be used for more than two years, and cost al least £500.
They are valued al cost or, if gifted, al the value to the Charity on receipt.
3. Trustees
No fees or remuneration or expenses were paid to any of the trustees during this or the
previous period.
4. Employees
The Charity had 27 employees and paid a remuneration of £578,404 in the year
(2024- 22 employees paid £547,471).

The church has been registcred under charitable rules ond has no liability to Corporation
