In the fiscaL year ending < April 2025 the Chariry raised £35?6p.55 through donations received from
benefa&ors and through Gift Aid This is once again a slighdy Smaller amount than in the previous
year but has neverthele55 been adcquare for suptK>rting the Chariws goaLs, particularly giverA that the
reftoration works on the monagtery buildings is yer to commence.
This year once agai￿ thanks to its devoted volunteer Secrerary. the Charirfs adminiltrative expenses
were kepr ro a minimum, comprising charges levied by financial ingtitutions and by JultGiving.
Ihe CIMritys principal outgoings wue the transfer of fimds to the MonaSTrère Saint-Benoit
(£29,00.00) in suppon of its life and worl and bank and JuftGiving fee5. Subsidiary outgoings
induded church supplies, books, etc., sourced in the UK for the use ofthe monaftery, as well as the
expenses related to the do&oral aiudies ofone ofthe monks at St Marfs Universiry, Thickenham,
making a toial of £M?W.20 in ourgoillg&
ThAs sixth full year of the Ch￿1￿5 operation has yet certainly been successfill in respe& of its gtated
aims and all the Trugtee5 look forward ro continuirAg their work once again in the coming year,
conscious of the far that when renovation and con&lru£tion work5 nnally commence, further

The tharity trustees (who are also dirertors of the company for the purposes of company lawl are responsible for
the preparation of the financial statements. The trustees consider that an audit is not required for this year under
settion 144 of the Charitie5 Act 2011 (the Charities Actl and that an independent examination is needed.
It Is my responsibility to:
examine the financial statements under section 145 of the Charities Act.
follow the procedures laid down in the general Directions given by the Chartty Commission under section
14515llbl of the Charities Art- and
state whether matters have come to rny attention.
8asis of independent examinerfs Statement
My examination was carried out in accordance wEth the general Directions given by the Charity Commission.
An examination includes a review of the accounting records kept by the charity and a comparison of the
financial statements presented with those records. It also includes consideration of any unusLfjal items or
disclosures in the financial statements and seeking explanations from you as trustees concerning any such
matters. The procedures undertaken do not provide all the evidence that would be required in an audit. and
consequently no opinion is given as to whether the financial ststements wesent a "trne and fair vievff, and
the report is limited to those matters set out in the ststement below.
Independent examinerfs statement
I have completed my examination. I confim that no material matters have come to my attention. which
gives me cause to believe that:
accounting records were kept in accordance with section 386 of the Companies Att 2006; and
the accounts accord with such records- and
the accounts comply with relevant accountin8 requirements under section 396 of the Companies Art 2006
other than any requi￿rnent that the accounts give a 'true and fairf view which is not a matter considered as
part of an independent examination= and
the accounts have been prepared in accordance with the Charities SORP IFRS1021
I have no concerns and have come acr05s no other m•tters in connection with the examination to which
attention should be drawn in this report in order to enable a proper understandin8 of the accounts to be
