The charity was incorF)orated on 29, February 2019 a5 a company limited by guarantee (number 097320431, and
as such has no share capital. The company's actsvities are governed by trs Memorandtlm and Articles of

Objective of the Charlty and Principal activltles
The objeet of the charity is the advancement of the Hindu faith for the benefit of the public in particular but
without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing by=
Establishin& maintainin& and supporting a place of public worship for lollowers of the Hindu faith and in
particular the Dvaita philosophy
Advancing and teaching the relIg￿uS ter*ts. doctrines. obsep4ations. and culture associated with the
Hindu faith, in particular the l)4aita philosophy
The principal activity of the chariry 15 to the offer the general public the op￿rtunity to learn about the tfvaita
philosophy. Through the teachings of the Sanskrit texts and prayers, the charity provides the opportunity to learn
about the history. ethical and moral framework. This will be deliVe￿d by educating and providing them

Risk Review
The Trustees have established systems to identify. monitor. and rewew the major operational and bu5ine5S risks
which the charity faces and have ellablished systems to ensure they appropriate￿ mitigate them. The Trustees

have considered the possible risks and have put in place measures to maintain income and reduce future

AcnviTIES DURING ZOZI-20ZZ
As the effects of the pandemic slowly wear out. and restrictions have been lifted we have been able to move back
to in-person event5. The benefits of reathing a wider audience through virtual events is immense and we are happy
to note that online events suth as GFta chantin& webinars on various topics of theological Inte￿$t are continuin8
to be carried Olrtvirtually. We would also like to place on record the Valuable time and seNice offered by the many
volunteers wrthout whom none of these attivtttes could have been carried out successfully.

FUTURE PLANS
In keeping wth the core mission of the Charity, the futu￿ plans of the mutt include online Veda chanting and
Bhagavad Gita classes. These have 31ready commenced in and the￿ has been great support for this initiative.
Various regular homas and pooias will be conducted at the Mutt. We would like to establish a transactional webslte
and create a monthly newsletter for the Mutt so devotees can keep up with reEular updates on the activities of the
Mutt. We are enlisting the support of variousvolunteers to assist with these initiatives. We plan to establish satellite
branches in Leed5 and Manchester a5 there is a strong followingforthe Hindu faith in those a￿as. We also hope to
move to larger. more permanent premises to service the needs of the community which is growing. The plan is to
conduct regular classes on Yoga, meditation. Bhagavad Gita lectures and SatsanBhs to ensure the continuty of the
spread of the knowledge of the Hindu Dvaita philosophy.

The charity received income of £146.286 in the year to 31 August 202212021.. 50,3211.
The overall surplus forthe year was £104,34412021= £4,020).
Reserves Policy
Currently there is no reseThes policy in place. The Trustees will ￿vIeW this in the comtng financial year and hope
to develop a reserves polKy that will ensure the financial stability of the charity for the future. The charity has
built up a modest reserve of £113.263.

The Trustees are responsible for preparing the Trustees. Report and the financial statements in aCcOrda￿e with
applicable law and united Kingdom Accounting Standards (United Kingdom Generally Accepting Accountin8
Practice) including FRS 102.
Company law requires the Trustee5 to prepare financial staiements for eath fina￿la1 year which give a true and
fair view of the state of affairs of the charitable company and of the income and expenditure of the charitsble
company for that year. In preparing those financial statements. the Trustees are required to-.

ACCOUNTING POUCIES
The financial statements have been prepared in accordance with applitable Accounting Standard5 in the United
Kingdom. A summary of the MO￿ important policies is set out below.
8è5is olaccounting
The finanrial statements have been prepared under the historical cost convention and in accordance with
the provisionsof the CompaniesArt 2C(J6 and in compliance with the Statement of Recommended Practice..
Accounting and Reporting by Charities SORP 2015 IFRS 1021 and applicable UK Accounting Standards.
A caslFflow statement has not been PrePa￿d because the charity is a small charity and is the￿fOre
exempt from the requirement to p￿pare a cash-flow statement.
The company was incorporated on 13 August 2017 and was converted io a charitable company on 29
February 2019.
The trustees confirni that they consider it is appropriate for these financial statements to be prepared
on the going concern basis. The trustees have the continued support of the Puthige Mutt, Udupi. Both
sources of income and types of eypenditure have been reviewed. Whilst one of the main charitable
purpose5 of the Fund rs to 5UPPOrt the maintenance of place of public worship for followers of the Hindu
faith. the level of this necessary expenditure is at the disc￿li0n of the trusiees and can be adjuSEed
during the year. The trustees have also considered the CharIt￿S working capital and capital expenditure
requirements. As a result of the foregoing the trustees are satisfied that it is appropriate to Prepa￿ the
accovnts on a goin8 con￿rn ba51S.

All income is included in the Statement of Financial ActNities when the charitable company is entitled tD
the income and the amount can be quantiftred with reasonable accuracy. The following specific policies
are applied to partKular categories of income=
Voluntary income by way of donations ènd gifts are included in full in the Statement of Financial
Activit￿$ when receNable.
Empenditure
Expènditure is included in the Statement of Financial Activities on a cash basis, indusive of any VAT which
cannot be recovered.
Charitable expenditure comprtses ih05e costs incurred by the charitsble company in the delivery of its
activities for its beneficiar*s and compfiSes both the direct costs and support costs relating to those
activities.
Govemance costs include those costs associated with meeting the constitutional and statutory
requiremenis of the charitable company and include independent examinerfs and audit fees and cost5
linke(I to the strategic management of the charitable company.
AII costs are allocated between the eXFendItu￿ categories of the Statement of Financial Activities on a
basis designed to reflect the use of the resource. Costs relating to a particular actTrvity comprise both
costs that can be allocated directly to such activities and those costs of an indirect nature necessary to
support them.
