Malawi In June 2024, one of our Trustees undertook a visit to Malawi to assess and undertake a survey as to whether we would be able to participate in relief work to the poor and the needy in Ihe town of Dedza and its surrounding villages. It was saddening to see that there was a lot of poverty and people were still living in mud huts and houses made out of wood and plastic sheets. After consulting with some of the village elders, we were able to distribute beef (from the animal sacrifice rituals of Eid-ul-Adha) along with food parcels containing ri￿, lenlils, flour, Cooking oil and spices to 13 remote villages (and a total of 195 poor households). It was deemed at Ihe end of the visit that due to a lack of commitment from the locals and our inability to find a suitable long arm supervisor to undertake future charitable work on our behalf (in accordance with our TAR Maith 2012

Section D Achievements and performance project aims and obieclives) that for the lime being sadly there would be no further involvement on our part for the foreseeable future.
