This is based on set categories<br>in that they must be<br>either: elderly, widowed,<br>orphaned,<br>disabled or sick, isolated or in acute|

|||||We aim to build at least one house each year for a family that have been|
|||||identified as homeless<br>and in extreme need ofshelter. A household<br>with|
|||||severe disabled<br>person is given a high priority.|
|||||On a number ofoccasions, we have also supported<br>families with two or|
|||||more elderly disabled<br>people<br>in the household<br>by providing<br>disabled<br>toilet<br>and shower facilities.|

|||We were fortunate that 2ofthe Trustees had a period ofstay in India at|
|||the start ofthe year and 1 Trustee was also able to revisit again at the|
|||end ofthe year to personally<br>overs see the charity work.|
|||The Trustees<br>in conjunction<br>with our Project Partner,<br>Alipore Social|
|||Welfare Trust (ASWT) were able to visit many remote villages from dawn|
|||to dusk on a daily basis to distribute the aid to the people<br>in need.|
|||As well as work undertaken<br>in the Gujarat state, the Trustee was also|
|||able to visit the following<br>cities/districts/states<br>around<br>India, namely:|

|||~<br>Jharkhand|

|||The chadity has a long standing/arm<br>supervisors<br>who have been in|
|||association<br>with the charity for well over a decade in each ofthese states|
|||in India. Each team ofsupervisors<br>with their own respective<br>and|
|||dedicated<br>volunteers<br>undertake<br>the surveys oftheir area identifying|
|||those who meet our set cditedia in receiving the aid from the chadity.|

|||The bulk ofour charity work has been the distribution<br>ofFood Kits and|
|||Blankets (and/or Bed Sheets) to those struggling<br>households<br>who face|
|||great difficulties<br>in making ends meet.|
|||The charity has been able to distribute<br>Food Kits and Blankets (and/or|
|||Bed Sheets) to over 190villages<br>many ofthem from remote areas of|
|||Gujrat state (within 100km ofChikhli) which were targeted<br>again this|
|||year. On top ofthis, we were also able to distribute<br>Food Kits in the other|
|||states mentioned<br>earlier.|
|||We were also able to identify the villagers affected by Cyclone Yeas (and|
|||the resultant<br>flooding)<br>in the states ofGujarat and West Bengal, India.and|
|||organised<br>Food Kit distribution<br>here as well.|

|||We identified<br>the most needy and vulnerable<br>families and do the needful|
