**2019, Macclesfield Pride has worked alongside**
**Macclesfield**
**Town Council and local agencies, businesses and**
**supportive individuals, to promote equality,**
**inclusion and acceptance of the LGBTQ+**
**community, in our town and local area. The**
**Trustees, through a working Committee and**
**utilising volunteer help, have held**
**one major annual Pride event each year and also**
**many other smaller events to fulfil our various**
**objectives. This includes our 4th Picnic in the Park,**
**which showed a wider benefit of the community as a**
**whole experiencing the beauty and advantage of**
**nature in our wonderful parks.**
**Through the work of Macclesfield Pride, attitudes**
**have changed, people have been educated and lives**
**have been enhanced by the freedom and more**
