**registration in 2019, Macclesfield Pride**
**has worked alongside Macclesfield**
**Town Council and local agencies,**
**businesses and supportive individuals,**
**to promote equality, inclusion and**
**acceptance of the LGBTQ+ community,**
**in our town and local area. The**
**Trustees, through a working Committee**
**and utilising volunteer help, have held**
**one major annual Pride event each year**
**and also many other smaller events to**
**fulfil our various objectives.**
**This includes our 3rd Picnic in the Park,**
**which showed a wider benefit of the**
**community as a whole experiencing the**
**beauty and advantage of nature in our**
**wonderful parks.**
**Through the work of Macclesfield Pride,**
**attitudes have changed, people have**
**been educated and lives have been**
**enhanced by the freedom and more**
**inclusive atmosphere that has resulted.**|
