## **Our Values**

**We have six core values that we pass on to all those who worship with us and for those who use our services so that everyone we come into contact with can be assured that they are dealing with open transparent people. Our values are taken from Proverbs 6:17-19.**

   - Philippians 2:3. We will treat all people with love and respect and will not look down on anyone as we are all created equal.

   - We value everyone that comes into contact with our ministry and , we, will not mislead anyone we come into contact with.

- We will use our hands to be creative and help people to thrive and be successful individuals.

- Build healthy mindsets within the community that we serve.

- We will work with individuals and groups to encourage positivity and be truthful in all our operations and in how we treat people.

**We recognise that life brings many up’s and down’s and because of this we will encourage unity at all times and challenge any behaviours that threatens the same because God hates anyone who sows discord, especially in the church.**

This year has been a challenging year however, as we are now fully operational since opening our doors to the community. The church is going through many changes and is now equipped with enough data to analysis the full running costs of the ministry and assets. Many of the essentials have been gifted, assisting us to enabling us to

continue our work towards working in the community and building relationships. The organisation is looking at improving our finances through various self-funding vehicles

WITHOUT WALLS COMMUNITY CHURCH 2023.

## **Summary**

Throughout the last financial year the organisation has made steps to meet with members of the community and voluntary organisations to carry out our objectives set out in our last year plan. This has been a challenging but good experience as the charity has taken bold steps to meeting its commitment to our faith, the great commission and the community around us. The church has seen and welcomed new members, young and old. The online bible and prayer meetings continue to encourage members and visitors alike with members joining the line as far as Africa and nationally. The organisation is seeking professional volunteers or individuals willing to commit their time to assist us in building our website and social media presence.

## **What Next?**

The Church will continue its mission and enforce its values to continue its outreach mission by reaching out to the community. We are planning to have Community Day(s), youth days and coach trips and entering into partnership with other voluntary organisations. The church is working on building relationships.

## **Independent Examiner's Report to the Trustees of**

## **WITHOUT WALLS COMMUNITY CHURCH**

## **For the year ended 31 March 2023**

I report on the accounts for the year ended 31 March 2023.

## **Respective responsibilities of trustees and examiner**

The charity's trustees (who are also the directors for the purposes of company law) are responsible for the preparation of the accounts.

The charity's trustees consider that an audit is not required for this year (under Section 43(2) of the Charities Act 1993 (the 1993 Act)) and that an independent examination is required. The charity's gross income exceeded £25,000 and I am qualified to undertake the examination by being a qualified member of FCCA.

Having satisfied myself that the charity is not subject to audit under company law and is eligible for independent examination, it is my responsibility to:

- examine the accounts under Section 43 of the 1993 Act

- to follow the procedures laid down in the General Directions given by the Charity Commission (under Section 43(7)(b) of the 1993 Act); and

- to state whether particular matters have come to my attention.

## **Basis of the independent examiner's report**

The procedures undertaken do not provide all the evidence that would be required in an audit, and consequently no opinion is given as to whether the accounts present a 'true and fair view ' and the report is limited to those matters set out in the statements below.

Independent examiner's statement

In connection with my examination, no matter has come to my attention:

(1) which gives me reasonable cause to believe that, in any material respect, the requirements

- to keep accounting records in accordance with Section 386 and 387 of the Companies Act 2006; and

- to prepare accounts which accord with the accounting records, comply with the accounting requirements of Sections 394 and 395 of the Companies Act 2006 and with the methods and principles of the Statement of Recommended Practice: Accounting and Reporting by Charities have not been met; or

(2) to which, in my opinion, attention should be drawn in order to enable a proper understanding of the accounts to be reached.
