Annual Report from Abl (CEO)
Levs Talk Covld
Let's Talk Covid is an emotional reslllence course written inhouse by our team to support
voung people to process the turmoil of challenges we all faced during the pandemic and
equip them with tools and skills to thrive and build their own resilience. This year we've
worked hard to build relationships with local schoo15 and promote Let'5 Talk Covid, so it was
really exciting to begin runnln8 in a school settlng in January 2022. We have partnered with
both Outwood Academy Redcar and Outwood Academy Bydales and run the course of 51x-
week sesslons wlth five groups of young people in total. Some feedback from the 5tudent5
included..
Yhe team is very supportNe, and it make5 me feel like l Can talk In a safe space,
e most helpful part was being able to get things off my chest and talk to someone.
Young people descrlbed the sesslons In one word as: 'the besv, 'helpful', 'calmlnl,'helpfuV,
'caring'.
Warkspace
Workspace is an aftèrs¢hool space where young people Can brlng thelr homework and

rg¢rultlng and tralnlng up a new volunteer team and promoting and advertlsing Workspace
in spaces young people mlght see it. We relaunched Workspace on 24, January 2022 and
have seen seven youn8 peop16 loln In and ¢onslstently attend durlng thls tlme. One young
person stated they could see how much the*ve 8rown in confidence in the few month5
