Section C Objectives and activities

To give children, young people and families from all cultures, backgrounds and abilities, an equal opportunity with access to free literature festivals, and supply free books where available Summary of the objects of the charity set out in its governing document

We held two festivals this year in Blackburn with Darwen Libraries and Keighley Library, engaging with over 6000 children in total. We gifted 3000 books over the two festivals.

Save Our Planet initiatives were held for each festival, encouraging children to write about our environment.

The literature festival community days were free to the public and we gifted free books on the day for all children who attended.
