To give children, young people and families from all cultures, backgrounds and abilities, an equal opportunity with access to free literature festivals, and supply free books where available Summary of the objects of the charity set out in its governing document

We held a part virtual and ‘in person’ festival in Selby Abbey. We made streamed sessions available to all 41 primary schools within the Selby district, using eight authors and illustrators.

Saturday was our community’s day that was heavily supported by Audio Visual with large screens outside Selby Abbey to accommodate social distancing.

The literature festival was made free to the public and we gifted free books on the day for all children who attended.
