We undertook the Blackburn Children’s Literature (Virtual Festival) due to the constraints of the Pandemic. We streamed live to over 4,000 children and families in schools and at home in Blackburn with Darwen, from Blackburn Central Library, followed by a virtual communities day using Facebook Live. All 56 schools and settings were gifted two free books, donated by Children’s Literature Festivals and Poems and Pictures Ltd.
