**Objects:** THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION AND, IN PARTICULAR, THE EDUCATION OF OLDER PEOPLE AND THOSE WHO ARE RETIRED FROM FULL TIME WORK BY ALL MEANS, INCLUDING ASSOCIATED ACTIVITIES CONDUCIVE TO LEARNING AND PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT.

**Activities:** Members establish and run, within guidelines set by the Trustees, a number of study groups covering a range of subjects and interests. There is also a regular monthly meeting open to all members at which talks are given on a variety of subjects. These activities enable members to learn by working together, sharing and developing their skills, and  also assist in combatting social isolation
