THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT IN THE HERITAGE AND CULTURE OF HISTORIC PILGRIMAGE ROUTES, IN PARTICULAR, THE VIA FRANCIGENA BY: A) PROVIDING INFORMATION ABOUT JOURNEYS TO ROME ALONG HISTORICAL PILGRIMAGE ROUTES INCLUDING ABOUT THE ROUTES, THEIR SOCIAL AND CULTURAL CONTEXT, AND THE PEOPLE WHO LIVE ALONG THEM; B) COLLABORATING WITH OTHER ORGANISATIONS TO SUPPORT THE DISSEMINATION OF INFORMATION ABOUT PILGRIMAGE ROUTES TO AND FROM ROME. 2. THE PROMOTION OF COMMUNITY PARTICIPATION IN HEALTHY RECREATION FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT BY THE PROVISION OF RESOURCES AND ASSISTANCE TO THOSE MAKING A JOURNEY TO ROME ALONG HISTORICAL PILGRIMAGE ROUTES, INCLUDING BY COLLABORATING WITH OTHER ORGANISATIONS TO SUPPORT THE MAINTENANCE AND ACCESSIBILITY OF SUCH ROUTES TO AND FROM ROME.

**Activities:** The object of the CPR is to advance the education for the public benefit in the heritage and culture of historic pilgrimage routes, in particular, the Via Francigena.
