We experienced In¢￿aSe in our attendance. revenue and spiritual gifts. Our priority in the previous year focused on upgrading parts of Dur church premises lo comply with Health and Safetyi building regulatsons. It was a great relief in 2023 -2024. this year, to be able lo devote our reSoUr￿S to meeting the personal needs of the people in our church and Ihe ￿￿der community. We were particularly keen to reach out to -.he most vulnerable members of our local community. We also needed lo ensure that were equipped lo assist in empoweriig Ihose in greatest need. Actions Taken and Impact Increased the memb6rship of our Spiritual Leadefship Team leading to a wider range of skills and spiritual experiences tlat have served to enhance the spirilual well-being of the church. Active promotion (through various plattom)s) of the Mount Shiloh Community Health and Well Being Hub. This was followed by the crealion of a range of Community Engagement Activities aimed at meeting the spiritual, physical, mental and soci81 needs of the rhurch and local community. Testimonials from different users describe the posilive benefrts that were experienced in terms of raised self-esteem, addressing bereavement and the leaming of new skills. Meeting with ,A)mmunity organisatsons with a similar remit including WVCA Iwolverhamplon Voluntary Community Action) and ROC (Redeeming Our Comffluniliesi to discuss city Mde strategies aimed al addressing inequalities of marginalised groups. - We are now part of WVCA Social Prescribing directory, particularly addressing the needs of vulnerable individuals suffering from soaal iwation. Liaising with refugee families,. WOTking with the children (bike riding) and the parents (food and clolhes distribution and fellowship visits to our church). This has led to the establishment of a clothes distribulion facility at our church. Being aclive members (taking a greater lead) of the Churches for Positive Change {C4PC} and Community Against Racism Enterprise addressing the needs of African Caribbean Community in Colla￿ratIon wilh the City Council.

This was carried out in the fofm of cooking. community hub stall. evangelism and prayer Organising holiday playschemes for children {HAF Funding} age 6-16 years offering sports and recreational activities both in Ihe church premises and in the East Park. During this yEar we also established a computer suile s-.ocked with equipmeni from a local school. This proved to be a very popular activity for the young people. Many of them spoke of the playscheme as Jeing enjoyable and engaging. Continued to liaise and establish partnerships with key officers and councillors in Wolverhampt)n City Council, as a result of Ouf work with the M8yoress in the. previous year. Plan5 have been discussed for the church to become a key ff1cilitator for increasing access of local residents to specific health services li.e. local t.reast screening hub) Mount Shiloh Church continue to play a key role in the Bethel District 4 We have atte1ded Pastoral Appreciation, Departmental and Annual Services. We have also support other denominal church services that are outside of Bethe.. In November 2023 we organised a Gospel Outreach Cc,ncert enlitted 'Forward Still,. This event served as a pl2fform to promote and raised funds for our community Well- being Hub. 11 was also an evangeli￿5 outreach event in which new members gave their personal leslimoriie5 which impacted on many souls during the service. The event was str•amed and watch by over 500 viewers and attended by over 200 people. 11 also served to bring the rhurch and communily together. We created our own logo on T-shirts. ho(wJies and caps which the rnembers and the community boughl at cost price. OJr Music Director also produced a CD recording his own songs which was performed on the night. Mount Shiloh Church continued to conduct baptisms, both of new members ¢ind for individuals from other churches (Aruka Ministries, Bilston Church etc.) We also conducted fui)erals' Ihis induded c.ne of our members, members from the si¢ler churches and the wider communit),. (cooking, community hub stall, evangeliEm and prayer). This ias strengthened and deepened our relationship with the differonl churches and the community, which is evident in the inc.reased number of vi8ilors to our church. The Church is dependents on ils membership working as volunteers in all aspects of the church's lrfe, a number of these activities and initiatives operate with minimal impact on the church's finances. bL.I nevertheless contribute substantially to tie achievement of th- church's overall charlable objectives. Total receipts on ordinary unrestricted fuThds were £32,134{£34,847-2023) and are detailed in the financial statemeils. £32,740(£31,563-2023) was spent lo provide the Christian ministry.
