Para 1.17 | For the public beneft, to develop the capacity and skills of members of the socially and economically disadvantaged community of Exmoor, with particular reference to capacity and skills among young adults under the age of 30: providing opportunities for learning through experience; working to provide opportunities to raise issues and suggest solutions to stakeholders; involving young adults in collaborative efort so that they gain confdence in their own ability and the ability to infuence decisions that afect them. By helping young adults living in or near the rural areas of Exmoor to develop their social and economic potential through participating in a range of educational and recreational activities. By enabling young adults to use their expertise to improve their communities, to share best practice and advise organisations on how young adults can be heard. The promotion for the beneft of the public of rural regeneration in areas of social and economic deprivation (and in particular in Exmoor) by all or any of the following means: (a) the relief of fnancial hardship: (b) the advancement of education, training or retraining, particularly among young disadvantaged adults, and providing young disadvantaged adults with work experience, including informal training that supports young adults and those who work with young adults to realise their potential and enhance their employability, enterprise, fnancial literacy and life skills. |

Achievements and Performance
