(Parent) 1. Accounts reviewed: £7720 in current account (with funds owing from Philip Wooler, Estate Agent Boards) ## 2. Giftaid: Process discussed and to be formalised – electronic form in set up. To request parents complete forms if UK Tax payer. Ross looking at Google form for completion. Giftaid to be reclaimed since Charity formed approx. £6K ## 3. Learning Garden (Nursery/YR): Discussed in poor state of repair. Responsibilities from school versus PSA debated. Helen and another parent (Deb Humble) have met with Miss Mora (teacher) & Ms Black (TA) at the school to discuss state of repairs. There is an upcoming planned meeting with contractors, EYFS teachers, Frank (estate manager) to get quotes for repairs/improvements needed. Parent body from Nursery and YR are keen to be involved to help clear and make safe where feasible in order to reduce costs. Mel Lalou clarified that in past the PSA have tended to purchase new items (eg. Playground equipment) but not been responsible for ongoing maintenance. It is important to makes safe and attract new families to school and so PSA happy to prioritise this if needed. Agreed with quotes to re-discuss with school again and to ask them to consider possibilities of grants. ## 4. Christmas Fair planning December 2022: - Stalls discussed. Need for volunteers inc Father Christmas - Raffle tickets (Ross Arieta) - Silent auction items (all) - To request TENS license (Mel Lalou) - To update Parentkind insurance (Mel Lalou) - To book Christmas Tree delivery slot (ideally Thursday, Lucy Cook). - Usual stalls (BBQ, bring-a-dish, face painting, candy floss, santa/photos, Tea&cakes, mugs, Tombola, Jolly Jars) - Paid & charitable stalls as before (eg. Little Architects, Dementia charity) - - New Ideas for stalls eg. Clothes donations Christmas Trees – agreed sale prices (based on reviewing retail prices on Pines and Needles website) 3’ £35, 4’ £40, 5’ £55, 6” £70, 7’ £85 (profit per tree: 3’ £15, 4’ £18, 5’ £29, 6’ £ 36.50, 7’ £41.50) **----- Start of picture text -----**
