**OUR ONLY WORLD**

## **TRUSTEES ANNUAL REPORT FOR THE YEAR ENDED 30/6/21**

Our Only World first started their activities in July 2018. We became a Registered Charity in February 2019. Registered No. 1182056.

Our main aim is to promote marine conservation, specifically reducing marine plastic pollution. We have two major projects underway:

- Our song project suffered from the COVID-19 lockdown as it involves primary school children, singing and dancing together, which has not been able to take place this year. We intend to continue this project in the near future.

- Our water refill station has advanced considerably and we are approaching the manufacturing stage. We have worked with local designers, plumbing and steel engineering companies. The outer case of the unit is made from recycled fishing nets collected from local beaches. We have been successful in securing funding from Cornwall Council to site 15 units around Cornwall.

Our overheads are minimal. Insurance is our major expense. We have managed to fund one conservation project concerned with mapping sea grass meadows. Next year we hope that we will be able to fund other marine conservation projects
