|Summary of the main<br>achievements of the charity,<br>identifying the difference the<br>charity’s work has made to<br>the circumstances of its<br>beneficiaries and any wider<br>benefits to society as a<br>whole.|Para 1.20|The Spring festival presented 8 concerts by<br>high calibre artists from around the world.<br>Highlights included performances of<br>Schubert Trout Quintet, Strauss<br>Metamorphosen, Dvorak and Brahms’ String<br>Quintets alongside lesser known works by<br>Weinberg, Bacewicz, Ginastera and a<br>performance of Martin Butler’s American<br>Rounds in the presence of the composer.<br>Audience feedback and the reviews we<br>received from critics were very positive<br>indicating our most successful festival to<br>date. Two further fundraising concerts,<br>during the year were both also very well<br>received.<br>Although our education work was still<br>impacted by limited access to schools due to<br>Covid, we put on 8 schools concerts and<br>workshops, a masterclass and worked with<br>Hampshire County Youth Orchestra at their<br>annual residential course. Our family concert<br>during the festival is now pay-as-you-wish, to<br>help with first access to live performances.|
