**Objects:** 1) FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC AND IN PARTICULAR, YOUNG PEOPLE, WITHIN THE ROYAL BOROUGH OF KINGSTON UPON THAMES AND ITS ENVIRONS IN TAMIL CULTURE AND ITS LANGUAGE, ARTS AND HERITAGE IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY BY THE PROVISION AND CO-ORDINATION OF WORKSHOPS, COURSES AND EVENTS AND LANGUAGE CLASSES.2) TO PROVIDE OR ASSIST IN THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE FOR RECREATION OR OTHER LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION OF INDIVIDUALS WHO HAVE NEED OF SUCH FACILITIES BY REASON OF THEIR YOUTH, AGE, INFIRMITY, DISABILITY, POVERTY OR SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC CIRCUMSTANCES WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THEIR CONDITIONS OF LIFE.

**Activities:** ITC Tamil centre was formed to advance the rich heritage of the Tamil culture through an education programme to all the communities particularly to the younger people.  It does this by organising regular classes in Tamil language, music and dance, by providing public performances and workshops, by celebrating cultural festivals.  It also provides recreational and sports activities.
