## REPORT OF THE YEAR & ACCOUNTING NOTES 

1. Income.  A)  We received two donations during the year, for which we are most grateful.  B)  2021 was not a good year for dividends generally, what with Covid, so we are happy that our own income did not take a hit.  C)  Because there were no donations of any kind in 2020, we were not able to make an application for a tax refund on Gift Aid. 

2. Expenditure.  Liturgical materials were bought for a departing curate and an arriving rector.  Our principal aim, in these very early years of the Trust, remains to build up the capital as much as possible, so that a more useful income can be gained for when it is truly needed.  To this end:

Further shares were brought during the year in the Church of England Central Board of Finance Investment Fund (Income):  23.16 shares were bought, for £500, on 15[th] June;  87.84 shares were bought, for £2,000, on 26[th] October;  giving a total at the end of the year of 1,313.07 shares, with a market value of £30,690 on 31.12.21. 

4. The AGM was held in church after the Eucharist on 6th June 2021;  the existing trustees expressed their willingness to continue.
