## **Trustees’ Annual Report for the period**

**From I/1/2022 to 31/12/2022**

## **Objectives and Activities**

Our aim continues to be to organise concerts of a high standard at an affordable price in a remote rural area

In 2022, there were five concerts. We held an extra concert due to the cancellation of performances in the previous year due to Covid. One of the five concerts was jazz. The other four were of classical music by the Manchester Camerata Oboe quartet; A4 Brass quartet; a Flute and piano duo and Classical Guitar. Audience size ranged from 68 to 97.

All trustees paid for their seats. On the day of a concert, the committee were helped by up to five volunteers

All trustees were reminded of their duties at a committee meeting in September.

Policy on grant making - We do not make grants to other bodies.

We achieved our objectives in 2022 by providing high class concerts. People in the Audience often expressed their pleasure on leaving the church.

## **Financial Review**

We maintained our current account with a good balance in order to guarantee that the charity can continue for another year at least. The future of our main source of grants – Stafford and District Arts Council - is uncertain.

2022 started with £6391 in the account and ended with £6817, a surplus of £478.
