BAcRG will take over responsibility for
St Michaels (“the Building”) through a
long lease from the Diocese once the
Building is repaired. BACRG will sub-
lease part of the Building to a
commercial baker as part of The Daily
Bread project. The rent earned from
this arrangement will provide
sufficient income to BAcRG to ensure
that the Building can continue to be
maintained and cared for. Community
events and activities will take place
within the restored Building which will
be open on a regular basis. Additional
income to BAcRG will be generated
through these community events.
Whilst the Building will not re-open as
a parish church it will be used for
occasional worship The trustees have
had regard to the guidance issued by
