The Cylch provides high quality day care and educational activities to children from iwo

language immersion method, and the Croesi'r Bont scheme supports the delivery of all
activities Ihrough the medium of Welsh. The children are offered a variety of leaming
experiences in accordan ce with Flying Start and EaTly Education and the 30h r childcare
offer. Cylch Meithrin Min y Dd61 works very closely with parents, guardians, and relevant
agencies to ensure that the ch ildren in their care have the necessary su pport and all their
individual needs are met.

Cylch Meithrin Min y Ddol became a CIO in 2019 with fourlruslee members- Catrin
Pritchard, Amanda Taylor, Slacey Cameron and Melanie Cameron. The Cylch has
expanded over the years, moving into a n ew purpose-bu ilt building in 2022, and with th is
increased capacity is now registered with CIW to accommodale up to 32 children per
session. We cu rrently have 42 children on the register, fu nded through a mixtu re of Flying
Start, Earty Education, 30hr Ch ildcare Offer and parent fees. Most of th e ch ildren that
attend move on to Welsh Medium education atthe neighbouring Ysgol Min y Ddol, for
wh ich the Cylch provides wraparou nd care for nursery age children, increasing the
ch ildren's education provision and helping parents in work. Cylch staff and school staff
work closely together to contin ue to ensu re that all safety measu res are met and the
correct procedu res are followed, with the head leacher of Min y Ddol Claire Raynorserving
as a trustee and chairof the committee. The Cylch is open Monday-Friday 9am- 3pm.

I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of the above charity for the period 1 April 2023 to 31 March 2024 

**Responsibilities and** As the charity trustees of the Trust, you are responsible for the preparation **basis of report** of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 (“the Act”). 

I report in respect of my examination of the Trust’s accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I have followed the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act. The accounts have been prepared on a Receipts and Payments basis in accordance with section 133 of the act. 

**Independent** I confirm that I have the requisite skills and experience to conduct the **examiner's statement** Independent Examination for this charity to the standards required as set out in Appendix 5 of CC32. Although retired from practice as an accountant and as a member of a listed professional accountancy body, I continue to conduct over 25 examinations on a voluntary basis every year. I also confirm that I am independent of the charity as set out in Direction 2 of CC32. 

I have completed my examination.  I confirm that no material matters have come to my attention in connection with the examination which gives me cause to believe that in, any material respect: 

- accounting records were not kept in accordance with section 130 of the Act or 

- the accounts do not accord with the accounting records 

I have no concerns and have come across no other matters in connection with the examination to which attention should be drawn in order to enable a proper understanding of the accounts to be reached.
