The trustees submit their report and the financial statements of The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) CHAPEL OF HIS MAJESTY for the year ended 31 May 2025.

The trustees confirmed that the annual report and financial of the charity comply with the current statutory requirements of the charity governing documents and the provisions of the Statement of Recommended Practice (SORP) Accounting and Reporting by Charities issued in March 2005.

STATUS

The charity was constituted under a Trust deed dated 12 May 2013 and is registered in England and Wales with charity number 1181859.

APPOINTMENT OR ELECTION OF TRUSTEES

Trustees are elected and co-opted under the terms of the trust deed.

ORGANISATIONAL STRUCTURE AND DECISION MAKING

The charity is organised in such manner that permits the trustees to meet and manage its affairs. The Pastor in Charge manages the day-to-day administration of the church.

RELATED PARTY RELATIONSHIPS

The charity is a parish of The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) which has parishes all over the world. The charity's relationship with other RCCG parishes is governed by an 'Agreement for Common Purposes'.

PRINCIPAL FUNDING

Funding has been provided mainly through tithes and offerings by church members as well as gift aid.

GOING CONCERN

After making appropriate enquiries, the Trustees have a reasonable expectation that the Charity has adequate resources to continue in operational existence for the foreseeable future.

OBJECTIVES AND ACTIVITIES

The principal object is to advance the Christian religion by providing a place of worship and prayer, raising awareness and understanding of Christian beliefs and practices according to the holy bible, carrying out Christian devotional acts and carrying out evangelism and outreach work for the benefit of the general public.

Activities

Conducting Sunday worship services onsite and online which allows members to participate in prayer, singing and listening to the Bible being preached; Tuesday church-wide prayer on zoom, and YouTube platforms; Running seminars in the church with proven ministers of faith to guide members in the various aspects of the Christian faith; Support for other charities and Christian events held by other churches; Support members of the church and community through difficult circumstances such as sickness, job loss, with food and other necessities; Regular visitations within the local community to provide required social and financial support to those in need.

Major Projects/events Holy Communion held on periodically, was a special event held periodically throughout the year in remembrance of the Passover dinner and Christ dying for our sins. We break bread and drink in remembrance and acknowledging Jesus' birth, death, and resurrection. Crossover service on December 31, 2025, was a special service held to offer the community an alternative atmosphere to celebrate into the New Year. There was worship, dancing, singing, preaching, and prayer throughout the service to lift spirits and worship the Almighty God.

ACHIEVEMENTS AND PERFORMANCE

RCCG CHAPEL OF HIS MAJESTY in Gateshead, is a beacon of hope and faith bringing revival to a town struggling with their faith as the churches are struggling with decline in attendance when we have brought joy into the town been led by a dedicated team of pastors and volunteers, the CHAPEL OF HIS MAJESTY embarked on a mission to spread the message of love, compassion, and Christian faith far and wide.

Every Sunday morning, the Chapel opened its doors for worship services, both onsite and online, welcoming members to participate in prayer, song, and the preaching of the Bible. They also gathered virtually on Tuesdays for church-wide prayer and study sessions, uniting in spirit despite physical distances. We have organised seminars led by seasoned ministers of faith, offering guidance and support to members on various aspects of Christian life. Additionally, we reached out to support other charities and Christian events hosted by neighbouring churches, embodying the spirit of community and solidarity.

In times of hardship, the CHAPEL OF HIS MAJESTY stood as a beacon of support for its members and the wider community. They offered assistance to those facing sickness, job loss, or other difficult circumstances, providing food to the local food bank and other necessities with open hearts and helping hands. Regular visitations within the local community ensured that no one felt alone in their struggles.

As the sun set on another year, the CHAPEL OF HIS MAJESTY stood as a shining example of faith in action, spreading joy and love to all who crossed its threshold. With hearts full of gratitude and eyes fixed on the future, they continued their journey of faith, guided by their unwavering commitment to serve others and glorify God in all they do. In our drive to propagate the word of God through our outreach and reduce poverty, good reports were recorded encouraging a further push in our mission.

STATEMENT OF TRUSTEES' RESPONSIBILITIES

The charity trustees are responsible for preparing the trustees' annual report and financial statements in accordance with applicable law and the United Kingdom Accounting Standards (United Kingdom Generally Accepted Accounting Practice). The law applicable to charities in England and Wales requires the trustees to prepare financial statements for each financial year which gives a true and fair view of the situation of the charity and of the incoming resources and application of resources of the charity for that period. The trustees recognise their responsibilities to keep proper accounting records that disclose with reasonable accuracy at any time the financial position of the charity and enable them to ensure that the financial statements comply with the Charity Act 2011.They are also responsible for safeguarding the assets of the charity and hence taking reasonable steps for the prevention and detection of fraud and other irregularities. INDEPENDENT EXAMINER'S REPORT

TO THE TRUSTEES OF THE REDEEMED CHRISTIAN CHURCH OF GOD CHAPEL OF HIS MAJESTY

I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of the charity for the year ended 31 May 2025 which is set out on pages 8 —12.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND BASIS OF REPORT

As the charity trustees of the Trust you are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011(“The Act").

I report in respect of my examination of the Trust's accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination I have followed all the applicable Directives given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act.

INDEPENDENT EXAMINER'S STATEMENT

I have completed my examination. I confirm that no material matters have come to my attention in connection with the examination giving me cause to believe that in any material respect:

  1. accounting records were not kept in respect of the Trust as required by section 130 of the Act: or

  2. the accounts do not accord with those records; or

  3. the accounts do not comply with the applicable requirements concerning the form and content of accounts set in the charities (Accounts and Reports) Regulations 2008 other than any requirement that the accounts give a 'true and fair view' which is not a matter considered as part of an independent examination.

I have no concerns and have come across no other matters in connection with the examination to which attention should be drawn in this report in order to enable a proper understanding of the accounts to be reached.
