Special Events: • We had the Annual Fasting Prayer from 05thto 09thApril 2023. Pastor Johnson Memana was the guest speaker during these meetings. We had baptism service on Sunday, 09thApril 2023. Dr Wessly Lukose and Pastor Bennitt Abraham gave leadership to the baptism service. • We had ‘Youth Sunday’ on 21stMay 2023, where the Youth of the church led the entire Sunday service. This provided a platform for the youngsters of the Church to plan and execute the meeting. • We had the Church outing on 29thMay 2023 at Rutland Waters, Leicestershire. This enabled all the members of the Church, including adults and kids, to meet, connect and relax with games, food, and other activities. • A Church orientation meeting was organised on 09thJune 2023 to train the new and existing leaders. • We took part in a Mission Seminar, ‘Let there be Light’ organised by Transformation Church, Birmingham from 04thto 07thAugust 2023. Evangelist Asghar Ali was the Resource Person. • We organised a Missionary Trip to William Carey Baptist Church in Moulton, Northampton for all the children of our church on 05thAugust 2023. This gave them an insight into the life of William Careyand his missionarycommitment. |

We have participated in ‘God Loves You Tour’ on 26[th] August 2023 in London, which was organised by Billy Graham Evangelistic Association (BGEA). This is an evangelistic ministry by Franklin Graham to spread the Good News of Jesus Christ through hundreds of outreaches around the world.

We had a Combined Fellowship with Birmingham Pentecostal Fellowship at Whetstone Baptist Church, Leicester on 16[th] September 2023. This was aimed at strengthening the fellowship with two churches and to know new members of both the churches more personally.

A ‘Church Weekend Away’ at Barnstondale Centre, Wirral was organised by the LAPC Youth Team from September 29th to October 1st, 2023. Connecting with all the families and spending quality time strengthened our bond during the 3-day outing.

• The Mission Team of LAPC organised a ‘Mission Sunday’ on 22[nd] October 2023. Katie Johnson from Christians against Poverty (CAP) and Katie Okafor from Bible Society were the guest speakers for this event. A special offering was taken to support various mission works.

• We had ‘Family Sunday’ on 21[st] January 2024. Pastor Sam Jacob was the guest speaker.

• We took part in ‘One Step Closer,’ a leadership and Apologetics training organised by Transformation Church, Birmingham from 22[nd] to 24[th] February 2024. Mr Abdu Murray from USA was the Resource Person.

Children Ministry:

Sunday School was held every Sunday from 4-5 PM. Sunday School had students from Foundation year to Year 12 with relevant curriculum. We catered for students even above Year 12 as many expressed interests in learning more about theological topics. 65 children were taught in the LAPC Sunday school, and 25 teachers were actively involved in delivering the Sunday School lessons.

ABLAZE - Ablaze is a ministry aimed at our children aged between 4 and 17. It is a dynamic and an interesting place for the young hearts to grow and nurture in God’s Word with confidence. We provide a safe, spiritual, and fun environment where God’s Word comes to life through various programs tailored to the needs of different age groups. Activities include games, crafts, action songs, teaching sessions, storytelling, prayer, and worship, watching videos and many more. We also encourage team-building activities to teach the importance of teamwork and to establish the culture of respect, trust, and value.

ABLAZE takes place on the fourth Sunday of every other month at Stoneygate Baptist Church, Leicester.

Youth Ministry:

The Youth Team organised youth meetings at Stoneygate Baptist Church, Leicester on the third Friday of every month. Youth meetings enhanced the confidence of the Children by exhibiting their talents.

The youth of the Church attended the Summer Youth camp ‘Kindle 2023’ at Cefn Lea Wales, from 22[nd] to 25[th] August 2023. KINDLE is a youth Christian Movement, whose aim is to contribute towards the rich heritage of Christian spirituality in
| this nation. The youth of the Church engage in various teams and lead numerous activities. Women's Ministry: • The women of the church meet on Zoom every third Thursday of the month for prayer, fellowship, and spiritual edification. Financial Support to Other Charities: • We have extended financial support to a few charities, organisations, and individuals. • We partner withOpen Hands, a charity based in Leicester to meet the needs of the homeless and hungry in Leicester city. Apart from financial support to this charity, we also provided essential food items to the needy through Open Hands. • We partner withChristians Against Poverty (CAP), a Christian charitable company in the United Kingdom and provide financial support. • We partner withChristian Aid,a relief and development agency of 41 Christian churches (Protestant, Catholic and Orthodox) in the UK and Ireland. We provide financial support to them. |

They could display their skillsets, which provided opportunities for them to learn, to lead group sessions and be involved in various team-building activities, which aided the youths in improvingtheir skills for collaboration and teamwork. |
