Summary of the purposes of the Para 1.17 The objects of the CIO are for the benefit of the public,
charity as set out in its governing (a) to advance the Christian faith in accordance with the
document Statement (as stated in the Charity’s Governing document) in
such ways and in such parts of the United Kingdom or the
World as the Church Council, from time to time, may think fit;
(b) to relieve sickness and financial hardship and to promote
and preserve good health by the provision of funds, goods or
services of any kind including through the provision of
counselling and support in such parts of the United Kingdom
or the World as the Church Council, from time to time, may
think fit; and
(c) to advance education in such ways and in such parts of the
United Kingdom or the World as the Church Council from
time to time may think fit.
Summary of the main activities in Para 1.17 and Special Events:
relation to those purposes for the 1.19 Challenges to churches continued in 2021 - 2022 due to the
public benefit, in particular, the COVID-19 pandemic. Government and Assemblies of God
activities, projects or services (AoG) UK Guidelines instructed all churches to cease from
identified in the accounts. public gathered services from mid-March 2020 and was
allowed to meet in person since June 2021. Life Abundant
Pentecostal Church (LAPC) continued to meet via ZOOM for
the Sunday services and other weekly meetings. LAPC started
in-person Sunday service from 08 August 2021. Despite all the
restrictions, the church family have remained very united,
committed, and connected.
We had the Annual Fasting Prayer from 07 [th] to 11th April
2021. Pastor C.P Thomas and Pastor Thomas Mathew were
the guest speakers during these meetings.
The Mission team of LAPC had organised a Charity bike ride
from Leicester to Loughborough on 25 [th] September 2021 for
all the LAPC attendees to raise money to support the
Christian Charities in the UK like Openhands.
We have participated in ‘Jesus Parade for All Nations’ on 4 [th]
December 2021. This is a Prayer movement initiated by
Christians in Leicester. Many churches from Leicester joined
together to pray for Leicester.
The Mission Team of the Church organised a Mission Sunday
on 27th February 2022. Evangelist Daniel Shearer was the
guest speaker for this event. A special offering was taken to

support mission works.
Children Ministry:
Virtual Sunday School was held every Sunday for an hour via
ZOOM. Sunday School had students from Foundation year to
Year 12 with relevant curriculum. We catered students even
above Year 12 as many expressed interests to learn more
about theological topics.
Youth Ministry:
The Youth Team organised monthly virtual youth meetings on
the third Saturday of every month to enhance the confidence
of the Children by exhibiting their talents. During these
meetings kids were encouraged to participate in KAHOOT
quiz.
The youth of the Church attended the Virtual Summer Youth
camp ‘Kindle 2021’ via ZOOM and Facebook Live, from 17 [th ] to
19 [th] August 2021. KINDLE is a youth Christian Movement,
whose aim is to contribute towards the rich heritage of
Christian spirituality in this nation. The youth of the Church
are involved in various teams and lead many activities.
Women Ministry:
The women of the Church met virtually via ZOOM on the
third Thursday of every month for prayer, fellowship, and
spiritual edification.
Financial Support to Other Charities:
We have extended financial support to a few charities,
organisations, and individuals as the pandemic had affected
everyone.
We partner with Open Hands, a charity based in Leicester to
meet the needs of the homeless and hungry in Leicester city.
Apart from financial support to this charity, we also provided
essential food items to the needy through Open Hands.

The Charity was able to provide support to the homeless
and hungry of many in Leicester city through our
partnership with Open Hands in Leicester.
The Charity contnues to support other charites in the UK
by ofering support in varied ways to the disadvantaged
and diferently abled people.
Through the Church actvites our youth have been able to
grow in their spiritual and personal lives. They could
display their skillsets which provided opportunites for
them to learn, and to lead group sessions and involve in
various team building actvites which aided the youths to
improve their skills for teamwork and collaboraton
building skills of the youths.
Focussed educaton for the children and teens has been
conducted regularly for their spiritual, moral and character
formaton.
The Church members were confdent in organising and
designing various events. These opportunites improved
their leadership and team building skills.|

Review of the charity’s financial Para 1.21 The CIO was able to meet the financial needs for the year
position at the end of the period while maintaining the balance and holds healthy reserves to
meet the ongoing needs of the CIO.
Statement explaining the policy Para 1.22 Life Abundant Pentecostal Church’s Reserves policy is to
for holding reserves stating why maintain sufficient level of reserves to enable operating
they are held activities, considering the potential risks and contingencies
that may arise from time to time. The Trustees review the
policy annually and the Church Council is authorised to take
necessary steps and policies to use the reserves in line with
the Model constitution of the Assemblies of God, Great
Britain.

Partnership
The Church partners with Assemblies of God GB, which is
one the largest mainstream Pentecostal movements in the
UK. Each church in this movement is requested to donate 3%
of their regular received offerings from their members to
their national office located in Mattersey, Doncaster.
The Church partners with other UK based charities such as
Open Hands Trust (Leicester), Kindle Community Limited and
Birmingham Pentecostal Fellowship.
