SORP<br>reference<br>Summary of the purposes of the  Para 1.17 The objects of the CIO are for the benefit of the public,<br>charity as set out in its governing  (a) to advance the Christian faith in accordance with the<br>document Statement (as stated in the Charity’s Governing document) in<br>such ways and in such parts of the United Kingdom or the<br>World as the Church Council, from time to time, may think fit;<br>(b) to relieve sickness and financial hardship and to promote<br>and preserve good health by the provision of funds, goods or<br>services  of  any  kind  including  through  the  provision  of<br>counselling and support in such parts of the United Kingdom<br>or the World as the Church Council, from time to time, may<br>think fit; and<br>(c) to advance education in such ways and in such parts of the<br>United Kingdom or the World as the Church Council from<br>time to time may think fit.<br>Summary of the main activities in  Para 1.17 and  Special Events:<br>relation to those purposes for the 1.19  Challenges to churches continued in 2021 - 2022 due to the<br>public benefit, in particular, the  COVID-19  pandemic.  Government  and  Assemblies  of  God<br>activities, projects or services  (AoG) UK Guidelines instructed all churches to cease from<br>identified in the accounts. public  gathered  services  from  mid-March  2020  and  was<br>allowed to meet in person since June 2021. Life Abundant<br>Pentecostal Church (LAPC) continued to meet via ZOOM for<br>the Sunday services and other weekly meetings. LAPC started<br>in-person Sunday service from 08 August 2021. Despite all the<br>restrictions, the church family have remained very united,<br>committed, and connected.<br> We had the Annual Fasting Prayer from 07 [th] to 11th April<br>2021. Pastor C.P Thomas and Pastor Thomas Mathew were<br>the guest speakers during these meetings.<br> The Mission team of LAPC had organised a Charity bike ride<br>from Leicester to Loughborough on 25 [th]  September 2021 for<br>all  the  LAPC  attendees  to  raise  money  to  support  the<br>Christian Charities in the UK like Openhands.<br> We have participated in ‘Jesus Parade for All Nations’ on 4 [th]<br>December  2021.  This  is  a  Prayer  movement  initiated  by<br>Christians in Leicester. Many churches from Leicester joined<br>together to pray for Leicester.<br> The Mission Team of the Church organised a Mission Sunday<br>on 27th February 2022. Evangelist Daniel Shearer was the<br>guest speaker for this event. A special offering was taken to<br>**----- End of picture text -----**<br>

support mission works.<br>Children Ministry:<br> Virtual Sunday School was held every Sunday for an hour via<br>ZOOM. Sunday School had students from Foundation year to<br>Year 12 with relevant curriculum. We catered students even<br>above Year 12 as many expressed interests to learn more<br>about theological topics.<br>Youth Ministry:<br> The Youth Team organised monthly virtual youth meetings on<br>the third Saturday of every month to enhance the confidence<br>of  the  Children  by  exhibiting  their  talents.  During  these<br>meetings kids were encouraged to participate in KAHOOT<br>quiz.<br> The youth of the Church attended the Virtual Summer Youth<br>camp ‘Kindle 2021’ via ZOOM and Facebook Live, from 17 [th ] to<br>19 [th]  August 2021. KINDLE is a youth Christian Movement,<br>whose  aim  is  to  contribute  towards  the  rich  heritage  of<br>Christian spirituality in this nation. The youth of the Church<br>are involved in various teams and lead many activities.<br>Women Ministry:<br> The women of the Church met virtually via ZOOM on the<br>third Thursday of every month for prayer, fellowship, and<br>spiritual edification.<br>Financial Support to Other Charities:<br> We  have  extended  financial  support  to  a  few  charities,<br>organisations, and individuals as the pandemic had affected<br>everyone.<br> We partner with Open Hands, a charity based in Leicester to<br>meet the needs of the homeless and hungry in Leicester city.<br>Apart from financial support to this charity, we also provided<br>essential food items to the needy through Open Hands.<br>Statement confirming whether  Para 1.18 Yes,  the  Trustees  had  considered  the  Charity  Commission’s<br>the trustees have had regard to  guidance on public benefit.<br>the guidance issued by the  As Trustees, we are focussed that all the main activities of the<br>Charity Commission on public  Charity are undertaken in line with the Objects of the CIO and for<br>benefit public benefit.<br>**----- End of picture text -----**<br>

They  could<br>display  their  skillsets  which  provided  opportunites  for<br>them to learn, and to lead group sessions and involve in<br>various team building actvites which aided the youths to<br>improve  their  skills  for  teamwork  and  collaboraton<br>building skills of the youths.<br>Focussed educaton for the children and teens has been<br>conducted regularly for their spiritual, moral and character<br>formaton.<br>The Church members were confdent in organising and<br>designing various events.
