|Summary of the main<br>achievements of the charity,<br>identifying the difference the<br>charity’s work has made to<br>the circumstances of its<br>beneficiaries and any wider<br>benefits to society as a<br>whole.|Para 1||Our Charitable Activities In Lionistic Year<br>2024-2025:<br>During 2024/2025 our activities have<br>included marshalling at Conquer Cannock for<br>the Roy Castle Charity 10k event, participating<br>in running stalls at Sandon Village Fete,<br>marshalling at Katherine House Hospice<br>Memory Walk, fundraiser for CCPA, our<br>murder mystery evening raised £1000,<br>attended Gotta Sing concerts to raise money<br>for PSA testing, visiting Lions Club in Rimbach<br>Weschnitztal Germany.<br>We have ongoing service projects:<br>recycling spectacles and hearing aids,<br>telephones and scrap metal, monthly<br>stewarding at St Mary’s Church, loaning<br>out of wheelchairs and other equipment,<br>training of camera operatives for the vision<br>screening camera, mentoring a school<br>based Alpha Leos Club, hosting our annual<br>carers party, 21 food bags donated to<br>young carers via Families First, cleaning of<br>the Lions shelter at the National Memorial<br>Arboretum, Vision screening in Stafford<br>Primary Schools for year reception<br>children, PSA screening for 258 men<br>Stafford Lions Club has financially<br>supported the following:£100 monthly<br>donation to a Stafford Food Bank, £240<br>sponsorship for a kit man at Stafford Rangers<br>Football Club, £100 donation to Eye Cancer<br>Trust, £400 donated to Stafford and District<br>Stroke Club, £100 to Kids Cancer Charity, £500<br>to Lions Club International for Stoves for<br>Ukraine, £450 for christmas gifts for teenagers<br>at Staffordshire Women’s aid, £150 donation<br>for Operation Comfort,£400 donation to|

We have done ‘gleaning’ for pumpkins which we gave to the ‘Fairshare’ Charity. Fundraising: The majority of our normal fundraising mainly takes place in November and the festive season when we do bucket collections accompanied by Santa’s Elves and a Lion in supermarkets and shopping areas in Stafford and Penkridge. We also raise money through delivering a local directory on a monthly basis. Food: We hold annual food collections in January and July. The food was distributed by a local foodbank.
