## Activities

**Objects:** 2.1 The Objects of the Charity are:(a) to promote the maintenance of good mental health and to assist in the relief and recovery of individuals experiencing mental health challenges or emotional distress, in particular (but not exclusively) by: (i) empowering and supporting individuals affected by mental health issues to live well, manage their conditions and work towards recovery through trauma-informed care; and (ii) enhancing public understanding of mental health issues and challenges, including the effects of trauma, by sharing information, educating the community, and promoting awareness to challenge stigma and discrimination and foster a more informed and compassionate society. (b) to promote public education in relation to mental health issues, emotional distress, and the effects of trauma, including encouraging study and research and sharing valuable findings with the public.

**Activities:** We support anyone with a mental health problem to get well and stay well for longer. We run a Recovery College which offers 1-to-1 support, psycho-educational courses, peer support groups, volunteering and counselling. We also offer opportunities for further training and we support people to access other agencies when needed.
