Oaktree Childcare Centre is registered as a day care setting for children aged 2 to 12 years old. We are open 52 weeks a year and are open Monday to Friday, 7.30am until 6pm. We offer breakfast club, wrap around and afterschool club, with a walking bus for drop off and collection from the local school. We are also an Early entitlement setting and offer the 30 hour childcare scheme. We take the children on outings within the local area such as to the library or the small park by Oaktree. Following opening after the covid lockdown we had to purchase a variety of new toys, books and furnishings to comply with the new legislation put in place for childcare settings to reduce the risk of infection and implement a strict cleaning regime which needed a lot of new items purchased to facilitate this. We recruit trustees by asking through the termly newsletter and all new trustees have to undergo a suitable criminal record check.
