**Objects:** AS A MEMBER SOCIETY OF THE NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF DECORATIVE AND FINE ARTS SOCIETIES ("NADFAS") THE PROMOTION AND ADVANCEMENT OF THE AESTHETIC EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC, THE CULTIVATION, APPRECIATION AND STUDY OF THE DECORATIVE, FINE AND OTHER ARTS AND THE GIVING OF AID TO THE PRESERVATION OF OUR NATIONAL ARTISTIC HERITAGE FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC.

**Activities:** The Arts Society Helmsley promotes the Arts in its area of North Yorkshire by providing educational meetings with lecturers selected from a list approved by The National Association of Decorative and Fine Art Societies.  It makes grants to encourage Young Arts and encourages study activities and supports preservation of artistic heritage.
