The period covered by this report saw numerous notable suc￿Sses, many of which are detailed below. Grants awarded totalled over £32,400 which represents a mor6 than 20% increase on the previous year. In total nearfy 145 young Feople were helped by Olivia Inspires during the year. Para 1.20 Olivia In•pirM Sail Training Voyage¥ Continuing the su¢ce$s of previous years, voyages we once again offered 5-day fully funded sailing voyages with Ouf partner, the Rona Sailing Project to all secondary schools and colleges in the NFDC distric. A totsl of 5 voyages took place and 48 disadvantaged pupils benefited from the experience. Eaglewood School We continued our fundinq throuqhoul the period for a further 11 students to Participate in the New Forest Bike Project's 'Build a Bike. course durtng vthich they rebuild a scrap bike, leaming valuable skills and getting io tske the completed bike home at the end of Ihe course. Woodlanders Cours• Olivia Inspires funding enabled 3 year 11 pupils from Priestlands Sthool in Lymington to complete their 2-year vocational course in traditional woodland skills. the Woodlander5 Course. We vRre delighted that we were able to lund a further 7 year 10 Priestlands pupils to commence the first year of the course.

The course provides the youn9 people vAth portfolio of skills which will be a good fit for college, partbcularly land-based courses. portFOUO Courno We were able to continue our portFOLIO project in collaboralion wrth Spudworks and Folio, the New FO￿sI,S UMb￿lIa arts organisation. The exciting project On￿ again enabled professional artist Stephanie James to work with 9 budding young artists developing new skills and building confidence. Peripatetlc Mu8lc Lessons Follo￿￿n9 on from Ihe success of last year's funding for music lessons at New Forest Academy. thi5 year we were delightèd to provide funding for 30 disadvantaged pupils to access musi¢ lessons. Thanks to our funding the young people studied instruments including guitar, keyboards and voice. Other Awards There wlere also 17 grants awarded to individual applicants lo fund activities including sports, music and ¢ollege Gourses. This is by no means an exhaustive list but gives a flavour of the wide range of activities that Olivia Inspires has supported during the year. Fundralglng Once again, we were grateful to receiv6 support from University College, Durham (Olivia's college) whose students took part in 3 nUrn￿r of fundr31gllNJ 3Clivitlgg dunng th8 year and raised an impressive amount of money for Olivia's charity. We also re￿iVed generous donat￿n$ from Bransgore. Highdiffe and Christchurch Rotary Clubs, Mifford on Sea Tennis Club and we held very $u¢ce$sful Christmas ¢olledions in Lymington and at Tesco in New Mitton. The trustees would also like to thank the many private individuals who mad8 donations to Olivia Inspires. Olivia In$pir•s was also chosen as the Lymington Mayors chanty and was also mado charity of tho yoar for WOod￿ckerS Care Home in Brockenhurst arKI The Quench Coffee Shop in New Milton.
