## Section D Achievements and erformance p

**Summary of the main achievements of the charity during the year**

During this accounting period (y/e 31 12.21), the trustees consider that, like in the previous years, the charity has performed well. We thank and praise Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala for this and ask him to accept our humble efforts, Ameen.

During the pandemic we abided by the guidelines set by government.

Educational services continued via Zoom. Ensuring that’s the children’s studies continued.

We launched the IEC Marriage website to provide support for men and women seeking appropriate partners for Marriage.

## **New Generation | New Vision**

## **Expansion Project**

Our current maximum capacity is only 20 students at any one time. The expansion will allow us to have more class rooms for educational and community-based learning. The current space is limited and can only be used during certain times of the day due to potential prayer times.

The new project aim is to make the building user friendly with increased safety standard and energy efficient structure to facilitate the whole community including women, children and elderly people. On 22 December 2021 the plans for the expansion were submitted to the local council. Also, a live appeal had taken place to start generating funds for the works to be carried out upon approval.
